I think Hearns had more power but Trinidad would win. I see Hearns wobbling Trinidad a few times but getting tagged by a left hook at about round 6 and not getting up.

It's not that i'm doubting Hearns boxing ability, It's just he had the ability to get tagged running around with his hands down.

Hearns more power, better boxing skills and would win by KO.Hearns lost one fight at 147 and that was to Leonard. Trinidad was no Leonard at 147.

The way i see it Felix Trinidad was a slow starter where as Thomas Hearns was the opposite. Felix Trinidad also got knocked down alot early aswell, if he was knocked down against Thomas Hearns, it would be all over. I like Hearns by KO early.

That's the most likely scenario I think. Both had big-time power with Hearns having an edge; both had suspect chins with Trinidad having the edge. That leaves Hearns' boxing ability as the decisive difference.
