Both fighters were disqualified this weekend in K-1 and now both fighters will have a chance to go toe to toe in Japan. According Puroesu Power.com to Bob Sapp vs. Frans Botha has been announced for the group's 12/6 Tokyo Dome show.

Matchmaker Sadaharu Tanigawa said that if Botha won the fight, then Botha would go on to be the "reserve fighter" for the World GP tournament if one of the 8 competitors gets hurt. If Sapp wins, he wins the match only.Tanigawa added that he expected heavy K-1 participation at New Japan Pro Wrestling's 1/4/04 Tokyo Dome show.

If Sapp doesnt DQ himself, Botha should win fairly easy.....

I never thought in my life I'd say Botha vs. Sapp in a K-1 fight. I guess I was wrong.

I wish K-1 would just get rid of Sapp.

Sapp isn't very skilled, but he puts butts in the seats and he's very marketable. It's all about the money, and they'll ride Sapp's ass until he can't walk anymore

Yeah, I hate to admit it but I do understand the logic behind his presence.
