I know you guys are sick of mundine talk but hopefully i can get some non bias and intellegent answers to my question. Lets not get personal and get some reason why this fight should or shouldnt happen and tactilly who would have the advantage in this fight.

Now If you havent seen Paul Williams latest fight go to the video trading block and download it. Paul williams had his debute at middle weight even though he holds the WBO welterweight title.

Ok mundine is fighting at middle weight now and says he wants a big name like Abraham or Pavlik now my opinion he can take them on but theres a risk as they have big power at middle weight.
If Mundine wants to vendure into the middle weight division with a big name why not take on paul williams who says he is looking for anyone from 147 to 168.
Now he looked good at middle weight only because the challenger is a bum but if mundine thinks he can take on the big boys go for williams.

The only advantage is see williams has over mundine is his long reach and slight height advantage. Mundine is faster hits harder and is the bigger man all round. I think this would be a perfect opponent for mundine to take on a big name at middle weight.

What do u guys reckon no bull**** personal attacks just plain answers

Thanks

Winnable fight for Mundine, and would be a very smart move for Mundine to try and get a fight with williams, beating him would calculate alot more intrest in himself to get the bigger fights.. that's if he wants them.

I think your going to get a unified answer on this. Mundine has a lot of talent and natural ability. Whether hes past it, well i doubt it, but we won't know as long as he continues to fight these bums.

How would a fight with Paul Williams go? Well Mundines definetely got the tools to beat Williams. I think it would be a lob sided decision. Mundine would land some solid shots early, and Williams will be on the backfoot. It would be kind of like Stipe Drews vs Danny Green.

I just can't see the logic in Mundine fighting Shannon Taylor and then Danny Green again. Both these fights make Mundine a total of around $5 million dollars. Yet if he was to beat Williams, he would make a lot more over the coming 24 months, whether he wins or looses, then he is making now.

It gets back to the point, that can't be defended or denied. Mundine seems to lack confidence. And possibly his eye injury is worse then we all think.

Either way Mundine takes this by a very wide UD. Rocking Williams throughout the fight. Would be a great fight, to promote him to a world class name. But i doubt anything like this would ever happen.

Mundine = Scared. And only he can prove to us, that hes not!

Yeah I'm surprised Mundine's name keeps gettin brought up here, but I'd give him a chance in this fight if it was at 168. At 160 he gets beat 4 sho.

A welterweight beats Mundine at 160 for shore? Williams came into tonights fight at 157. Mundine will come into the fight at 168 maybe even higher.

No way a welterweight beats a SMW.

But No one will ever see this unfortunately.

Slight height advantage?.

Probably a foot reach advantage.

Chin.

Stamina.

Workrate.

Mundine having a power advantage is very debateable.

Mundine's got the speed and overall better boxing skills. Williams has a very good jab though.

Overall, wide UD my arse.

Williams by KO!!!.

Question, why should Williams fight Mundine. What does he bring to the table? If Williams win everyone will just call Mundine a bum which he already is.

Your the stupid one.

Mundine fights best at 168.

Williams at 147.

Logic says what?

Mundine wins. Wide points decision! He will hit Williams with rights all night.

Mundine is no quintana! :bottle:
