Panalo ang Ateneo. I watched it earlier just for the heck of it. I mean it was like major news everywhere you go, record attendance, the drama, the rivalry, history.. everything. But the quality of the game it self.. its uummm so poor. Magaling pa yung mga larong kanto. Evryone was fumbling the ball, both teams couldnt buy a basket for almost the whole duration of the 4th quarter. No one knows who to handle the ball properly, no offense nor defense. Im sorry if I offended some fans here but any serious basketball fan who've seen this game clearly knows what I mean.

We talk about reviving basketball pride, here it is at its grassroots level and it suck. Organizers even had the Serbian / Iran coach to watch lol kakahiya. Nagkakalat mga players, theyre just so much pumped up with emotions and the screaming fans, they forget how to execute some decent plays. :thumbsdow

yup, at that point of the game they were making their run pa naman. the lead was just down to 6pts. damn! the referees put the outcome of the game into their hands, tehy should have let the players play. and i dont agree with the handcheck fouls, dapat no blood no foul hehehe, that is a championship game pa naman.

Its a poor call. You just cant call that violation in a championship game, especially in the later periods. They can be tight in their calls but they should limit it to physical contact. Poor officiating.

However, I dont think it had THAT big of an impact in La Salle's loss. They can make their case if its close, say 1 or 2 points, but it isnt. they didnt executed well, lost their focus. At one stretch they had like 3 offensive rebounds and couldnt make a basket--- coz theyre ****in too far to the basket trying to make treys when there's a good 3 mins to play. What kind of coaching is that.

I even read in the newspapers Pumaren saying they shouldnt have played the game and given the trophy to Ateneo instead. You ****in leave the national team hemorraghing in international competition to coach your school only to give that statement when you lose. What a prick. Sore loser.
