It sold crazy and props on that. But I can't even listen to this **** anymore. Carter 2 was so much better. I find myself skipping through a majority of C3. Phone Home was pretty bad too. And is that T-Pain on the hook? Hook was terrible too on that joint.

Weezy is the only rapper you can fill a while i pod up with his songs, dont say jay z or nas .. you could do that but it would be lame, you can fill all lil wayne on i pod and it wouldnt be out the ordinary.

Because your opinion is fact right? It's all subjective. Anyone can say that for any artist if they like them enough.

This is 100% opinion
Many people would & have filled their iPods with Nas and Jay tracks.

I am talking about 300 songs by all one artist, my point is nas and them dont have that many songs out.. Weezy has thousands of songs from mixtapes or whatever.. and all them at one time or another were popular.. Who else can do that? WEEZY

...'thousands' (which means 2,000+) of songs that were all popular at one point in time?

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

oh yea, CIII was a letdown, very little replay value on top of the fact Wayne took a huge step backwards to begin with.

Wow. Some are delusional. Just because it sold a lot doesn't mean it's a great album. It's unbelieveable to read the stuff you are typing. So what it sold. Who cares? I'm judging the quality of the album.

Well "usually" to go plat in one week, the album h as to be at least HALF WAY decent, you cant tell me that the carter 3 was wack, but it went plat in the first weak... How come all the "GOOD" albums out there dont do that?
Weezy must have just a lil bit of quality in his music , he makes songs that know one else could think of making.. His flow is CRAZY!

Not even!

It was leaked 2 to 3 weeks before the album dropped, so people already knew what it was all about... So dont make it sound like people were anticipating it then were dissapointed when they bought it.. They already knew what was on the CD.

Fact of the matter is Tha Carter III was supposed to be dropped years before it finally came out. The **** is like his first Studio album in like 3.5 years.
You add that to all the buzz Lil Wayne created for himself by doing features and making hot mixtapes (credit to him), and Tha Carter III becomes a highly anticipated album.

The stuff that was on that album doesn't equal the long delay.

Too much Wayne defending going on. Not all albums sell huge numbers. That doesn't take away from it being a good album. It seems like your concept of music is a bit flawed. When I listened to All On Eyez on Me I didn't think the album was dope because it sold crazy. I just thought it was a crazy ass album.

Carter 3 had some wack songs on it. Overall it was okay. And on a lot of verses he came off extremely average.

I totally disagree Lefty!! The album is hot if you ask me..Every track brings a different favor with it..Its create enough for me to jam it from beginning to end..

It's an album to vibe to. Some of the songs I didn't like though. I can still listen to it. I don't mean the album is terrible or anything. It's just that my expectations were for it to be as good as Carter 2.

Ok I feel that playa..
This is his best work to me...With this album he flirts with several styles..Its an album that you can just put in and ride...."you tie my hands, what am I gonna do...." This is a deep jam..The boy actually made an album...

Oh and Carter 1 was better than Carter 2 but Carter 3 is better than both...

Thousands as in 1,000's

the public school system has failed you, daretard5. when you say 'thousands', that means thousands, plural, which would be 2,000 or more, but thats beside the point, i guarantee you couldn't name even 500 Lil' Wayne tracks that were popular at one point.

How was c3 a let down?

how is going platinum in the first week a let down? especially in 2008, who the **** buys CD's?

people like you think that 'soulja boy tell'em' was a great album because of sales...

....your a fuc.kin moron.

lol cam is mad because killa cam could never go platinum EVER again no matter what he does.. CAMRON will not even go gold.. ever

and that effects me...how? its not like i get royalties off of Cam'Rons next studio album...im a fan of his music, but i can give a **** if he flops. record sales only matter in the minds of ignorant retards like yourself who try and use it as leverage in an arguement, like it actually matters :nonono:. log off boxingscene immediately.

i respect people's opinions (except if you're 'daretard5'), but Tha Carter II is far more superior than the first or third installments.
