View Full Version : Letting Off Steam
What the **** is this world coming to? Honestly?, I just spent well over 2 hrs in the 39th district court trying to drop an answer to a civil suit, not mine, I was doing a favor. There was noone waiting online, only me and Ana standing in front of a mother ****ing window waiting for one of the 45 women sitting in their desk eating doughnuts and laughing to just come to the window and take the damn application. Three times people came close to the window looked at the paper work from afar and left without saying anything like...she will be right with you maam or I will let her know you are here. After all that time Ana started getting bored and she started screaming the worst of all ear piercing screams...then someone bothered to tell the girl I had been sitting there... they gave me the evil eye after Ana puked all over the floor from all the screaming... it was great and I didnt even bother to clean it up!

Mr. Beelzebub 10-08-2003, 02:09 PM Oh yes, bureaucracy at its finest.
You would think that there was something that had to be done, like pay the person who works that window or sign something, but all I had to do is give it to her in her hand...UGH that is why I have no female friends is this place
nance 10-08-2003, 03:18 PM I have no problem going up and asking...politely of course, if they intend on helping someone. I usually act as if they are doing me a favor and I sometimes get a positive response. If that doesn't work, then I get rude. I like getting rude to those who deserve it. They usually want to get rid of me faster that way.:devil
On another note, you know when the person in front of you leaves their cart in the checkout lane right in front of you? I like saying very loudly. "Excuse me sir/maam" and when they turn around thinking they left something behind, I say "You forgot your cart" VERY LOUDLY , and make a show of pushing right towards them. muwhahahahaha
momita 10-08-2003, 06:50 PM LOL, the only time I allowed my 3 boy terrors to brawl & start fighting each other, was when in a line waiting for a useless lazy person who was supposed to be in charge of a window or whatever, chose to ignore me..... I could ignore things too!
Got pretty intertaining a couple times, matter of fact when the person quickly came to take care of business, people in line were disappointed & they had really begun to enjoy the spectacle LOL.
The Jake 10-08-2003, 07:07 PM Hahahaha this is awesome stuff Momita & Kato.
One day I'm gonna pull a Tony Soprano or Robert De Niro on the mother ****ers that screw me around.
Like the ****ing whore from Verizon who killed our phone service yesterday and when they called me back explained that it was in response to a DSL request and that they were merely obligating my ISPs request and if I want my phone service back I have to call them. I hung up on the *****/face/whore/cunt because anything I was going to say wasn't going to be civil and probably criminal.
8 weeks and ongoing I've been waiting for DSL. I've already lodged complaints with the BBB, FTC & Antitrust Department of the DOJ for what I believe is Verizon breaking anti trust laws and exhibiting anti competitive behaviour.
WHY THE **** is my ISP responsible for the voice portion of my line? It's the telco, not the ISP. It's *THEIR* lines, *THEIR* equipment - the ISP doesn't even have ACCESS to *THEIR* equipment to make the changes even if they WANTED to.
I may well decide to sue these ****ing arseholes.
"LISTEN HERE YOU ****ING WHORES - I WANT MY ****ING DSL SERVICE NOW. YOU GET IT UP AND RUNNING OR WILL PUT A BULLET BETWEEN THE EYES OF EVERY ****ING EMPLOYEE THERE UNTIL IT'S UP, COMPRENDE?"

I understand where you are coming from Jake, so many times I wanted to go around the city cutting telephone wires...lol, Ameritech (SBCnow) was the only company that gave landline service until last year, so they did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted... I still want to go around the state ****ing all their lines...there has to be a way
anything for you big boy...grrr:devil
box_banger 10-09-2003, 11:50 AM I spent 2-1/2 hours in line at the Ypsilanti Secretary of State (like California's DMV) yesterday. When I finally got to the clerk I first politely asked her how she was doing then told her I needed to make it to the class I teach at Washtenaw so I hoped we could make this really fast. I had like 10 minutes before class started. Seconds later a drop-by nonemployee friend of hers walked up to her counter. "Hey, girl!" They proceeded to gossip about potato chips and their church. 10 full minutes. The 10 minutes I needed to make it to class. No one with an IQ above 80 is allowed to work at the Secretary of State. Tell little Ana it's ok, because I sure as hell felt like puking on the floor too.
The Jake 10-09-2003, 10:08 PM Is it illegal to piss on their desks to get their attention? I'm wondering if an overnight stay in jail would be worth it?
- J.
I think I should **** and piss and then sue them for mental anguish...tell them that I was terribly ill but out of fear of loosing my place and having to start from the beginning I decided to use their lobby is a restroom....ugh
The Jake 10-09-2003, 10:20 PM I say go for it. Women can get away with all sorts of deranged behaviour that men could never hope to (one of my many gripes with the legal system around the world at present - it's geared in favor of the women with no regard for men but that's another rant altogether).
My vent for today is my ****ing DSL -
I got up early so I could chase this ****er up and try to get some **** done before work but now. Two and a half hours on the phone to my ISP and Verizon - 70min of which was hold time and being transferred to 3 different people.
I can't wait for the government to call me up in response to my complaints. I am seriously contemplating finding a lawyer for this too as I think I not only have enough evidence but could be considered an expert witness and I think I could seriously hurt them in court. I hope it goes that far. I'd love for Verizon to pay for Arju and I's new house... and cars... and pool... and computers....
- J.
The Jake 10-09-2003, 10:22 PM The amount of time and mental anguish over this is already pretty damn extreme (in addition to the other stresses I'm going through, I've had near panic attacks over this). I'm sure I could get a decent sum....
- J.
I bet you that if you contact the media (something like what we have here "problem solver") they might be able to investigate and find out how many people are in your position, thus making the suit definetly larger...people did that here in MIchigan with SBC...they had to pay big time
The Jake 10-09-2003, 10:29 PM Mmm.... good idea Kato!
Who should I call about this?
I mean I've lodged complaints with the FTC, Antitrust Dept of the DOJ, BBB... I know who I need to call about this **** in Australia (the ACCC, TIO & Current Affair) but I don't know who out here.
- J.
The Jake 10-09-2003, 10:51 PM TTT for Kato.
If anyone else can help me out, please suggest something....
