FCF: It sounds like your gunning to fight Couture again right away.
TO: Yeah. There's no one else to fight right now.

He keeps losing respect and credibility in front of the fans. He's scared ****less of fighting Chuck and dissapearing from the title contender picture. Unlike Ortiz, Liddell kept fighting and loss his status for doing that; two completely different fighters in every single aspect.

Mother ****er needs to own up. He's got soooo much talent and skill. He could beat most guys out there andeven though I don't think he can beat Liddel, he can sure as hell give him a run for his $. Unless Vitor's totally back to his old self, Tito can probably beat him too. He can beat Babalu, Franklin and by Quinton's own admission, Rampage. My bet is that he'd own Silva in the ring or the Cage and that agaisnt the smaller HW's Ortiz would be competitive. He's only making himself look like **** by making the aforementioned comments and trying to get trounced by Randy yet again. ****, the next time Tito fights Randy he might get owned worse than Roy Horn did by his Tiger.

My respect for Tito as a man is getting, incredibly, even lower with every post-fight comment he makes. From what everyone says about the Randy fight, Tito could probably fight him ten more times and do no better.

freakin Tito
He just wants to get his title back
He is afraid if he fight Lidell or Belfort that he will lose and be taken out of the picture.
I have lost alot of respect for tito over the last few months, he has to go take some chances and fight the top contenders.
He is great - he needs to go out there fight the best and show that.
He is not hungry anymore. He just wants glory.

he doesnt deserve a rematch until he fights liddel, liddel or Vitor Version 3 deserves to fight couture more.

I dont see how Vitor diserves a title shot right now. I dont think any LHW in UFC deserves a shot right now.......

Chuck would if he won the GP, but he JUST fought Randy

Chuck vs Tito and Belfort vs Franklin seem logical

or any lightweight

or any middleweight

The problem w/ UFC is primarily lack of talent and ****ed up relations w/ fighters, not to mention the problems HW's have w/ illegal, performance enhancing substances.

Pride is Bull**** cuz they liek champions for the sake of having heros. They feed them Japanese hometown boys (Silva) which makes the Japanese proud, plus they like having Silva unbeaten. and like Coleman they love him over there andthey way he demolished guys, same w/ Sapp. It's a cultural thing.

It's tough though, what to do, what to do...

Neither UFC or Pride caters to american fans. The Japs love seeing Silva beat them up. And Zuffa just puts on fights they think will sell too a general audiance and not us hardcore fans who spend all day discussing this kinda ****......

Exactly. Pride wants one of there own to beat Silva and that ain't going to happen. Zuffa wants the big PPV numbers and don't care what it takes to get them. They "the big MMA promotions" know that the hardcore fans will be there no matter what crap they feed us. All the Tank vs. fights........ The Silva vs. Sakuraba matches.... the goofy promos and gimmicks.
What can we do???
Go out and support the local events. Get involved at the grass roots level. Talk about events like KOTC and WEC or any of the hundreds of MMA matches that are put on each month. Then when the PPV buys are down and no one is talking about Cro Cop vs.the Iron Sheik or Pat Smith returning to the cage maybe they'll listen to us about what we as the hardcore fans want to see.

It could backfire as well Curly, without the PPV buys Zuffa might start trying to make it go back too a specticle. "We need to increase PPV ratings, Lets sign Tank for 10 more fights. How bout we bring in a celebrity and have him have a worked fight.". Pride dont give a **** about american fans. They never will. Pride could stop broadcasting in the US and still be doing just fine financially.....

yeah you're right. I'm sure Zuffa probably hires a consulting firm to see what the public wants. So they look at the successful "violent" PPVs like pro wrestling and go from there.
I just hate the fact that there are tons of shows going on in North America that would kill to be in the spot light as much as we put the UFC and don't get any support.

Wait I already did this rant in my column. Never mind lol

Promises, promises.

In multiple interviews granted before his woeful showdown with Randy Couture on September 26, Tito Ortiz made one thing valiantly clear: Chuck Liddell gets next.

Ortiz talking to Alex Marvez: "Chuck is my next fight no matter what. He's talked so much smack. His mouth has written a check his ass can't cash and it's time for me to collect."

Ortiz talking to Arron Barringer: "In my mind, he's the next one. I mean, win, lose or draw, whatever, Chuck Liddell will be the next one."

Ortiz talking to Michael DiSanto: "And if anyone thinks I'm afraid of Chuck Liddell, Chuck Liddell is in for a whuppin'! Win, lose or draw against Randy Couture, he's the next opponent for me in my mind no matter what. I've got what I held out for."

Same statement in 3 separate interviews. :nonono:

I have almost zero respect for Tito now, he's making excuses on why he got his ass kicked so bad on the FCF article. There is no way in hell he should get a rematch with Randy until he fights Chuck.

i never had any respect for tito in the first place. he has always fought guys that were smaller and weaker than him and won. he pussed out and ducked chuck and got a worse beating from couture than he would have ever got from chuck. comparing his self to ali is laughable. i hope loses his next three fights and retires. before tito gets another shot at randy he should have to fight liddell and belfort.
