When you go out with a beautiful girl after that relationship ends it is so difficult to find anyone else, because now I will not want anyone who is any lees than the ex. It is very difficult for me to find someone who comes close to her.

same thing just happened to me about a month ago man i know what it's like just be head strong after a while the pain goes away

No this is a perfectly valid argument. You should never settle for anything less that what you want/deserve.

In some cases, particularly if you're settling down you will find you are a lot more fussy and you look at the whole package however as opposed to purely shallow things such as appearance. I've seen this happen to many a mate too, particularly when they've had a history of banging models and all of a sudden settled down with someone that isn't the best looking but treats my mate better than any other chick he's ever had.

we havent spoken in about 3 weeks - I have attempted to speak to her but she wont she will not respond. I left her a present at her house and she has been looking to start a band - she is a great singer - so I have been finding people for her to start a band with. I have never done her wrong.

I'm in the same boat my friend. Only my ex and I had a good break up and are still close friends. I've dated other girls since, some of which were hotter physically but none that were the complete package of a kind, caring, gentle, giving person like her. We lived together for almost 2 years before we decided it was not working. Kind of devastating actually.

And yea we were kind of the same way, we went ot for a little and then broke up and sttod friends for a while, but the friendship was not working out the best even though we loved talking to each other and and had a great time hanging out. It is very hard to be just friends with someone you want to be with who you have been with before.

It's very difficult to stay friends with someone that you were intimate with, if not impossible. Some feelings just don't change and when/if a new person enters yours or her life then the new person won't appreciate the ex calling and wanting to hang out oreven just talk. My ex and I are enjoying are friendship while it lasts, but we both know that it WILL end. It's just a matter of time.
