Frank Shamrock's fight with Cesar Gracie, slated for the 14th of November in "Shootbox", has fallen through and will not be happening. After stating to anyone who would listen that his fight with Cesar was a "done deal", it was learned that a date was never even secured with the New Orleans Hotel (the venue where the fight was reportedly to occur). Cesar had agreed to the fight and it seemed as everything was in motion for the bout. However when a contract was never delivered to Cesar, it became apparent that something was wrong. Shootbox, which is partly owned by Frank, never bothered to inform Cesar or his management that the fight was off. It seems as if the whole episode was a publicity stunt on the part of Frank! We will have an interview with Cesar and get his take on all of this in the next couple of days.
