Holyfield looked horrible. HORRIBLE. Beat to the punch in almost every exchange. Tony stunned Holyfield a bunch. When Tony led with a left jab then straight right, he connected 99% of the time. It's time for him to retire now.
Corrales looked alright, not bad. He needs to keep his hands up more but he did good, he got knocked down twice, maybe the 3 and 5 round. Casaymore <sp maybe) got knocked down in the 5th as well. The doctor said Corralas couldnt continue because he got hit with a left hook/uppercut i believe and his tooth went through his mouthpiece and through his lip. She also said, that the blood could have been swallowed into his lungs or something..The doctor said he could have had a broken jaw also. I would like to see a rematch bc i think Corralas could take it. This fight was prolly the best of the night. Ashame it had to end the way it did.
Also in boxing, Eric Morrales KO'd Guty Espadas in the 3rd i believe..He hit Espadas with an over right thatn landed kind of on the side/back of the head and he was done.

This was a showtime production...which i don't understand because Tony and Holyfield were both HBO boxers...i believe anyway..

He did fall down. But i don't think he was that hurt, he fell down bc of exhaustion. WHen he fell he wasn't hit at all, but he did take a bodypunch before that.

The Espadas-Morales fight was a joke. Espadas is not the same fighter anymore, and Morales looks really strong at 130.
I think it's obvious that Holyfield needs to retire. He looked extremely terrible. His reflexes weren't there, he gassed quicker than usual, he was slower, his footwork wasn't sharp, and he couldn't, as he stated, "pull the trigger." All those things put together equate to an old, washed-up boxer who doesn't really know that his time has already come and gone. Holyfield showed very few signs of his old self (his best round was the first), but he couldn't keep up with Toney's pace.
Holyfield says he doesn't want to retire, but I think it's in his best interest that he does. He's got tons of money and he doesn't need to prove himself anymore.
