Many people find it hard once they peak to find any gains at all. :fing26: Squirrel 09-17-2008, 05:42 PM I cant think of a specific number right now, though im working my arms tomorrow so i'll check then. Its worth keeping in mind that for strong arms you need to focus on your tricep as much as, if not more, than your bicep. It accounts for 2/3rds of the mass of your upper arm after all .. meeny 09-17-2008, 05:53 PM when i was 16 i was curling a max of 130 pounds..but i was lifting for quite a while to get there..now i cut down alot, almost all of my routines are circuit training which ill use about 35 lbs and do 30 reps each arm, different days ill do different types/hammer/reverse..seated..so on meeny 09-17-2008, 05:53 PM curls are the easiest thing to improve on it feels like every week i can do 5-10 more pounds if your just starting to work out then yea your body is in shock and you get those almighty beginner gains..and if your eating right you pack it on even faster =D Danny Gunz 09-17-2008, 09:39 PM if your just starting to work out then yea your body is in shock and you get those almighty beginner gains..and if your eating right you pack it on even faster =D Nah I didnt mean that literally i just meant it seems like biceps and triceps are the easiest things to gain on, not every week maybe every 3 or 4 weeks i go up in weight on curls Almost every weight lifting exercise that can be done involve arms in some way so they get more workouts then any other muscle peewee1460 09-17-2008, 11:09 PM when i was sixteen and 115 i curled 130 pounds. that's my single greatest weight lifting acomplishment Danny Gunz 09-18-2008, 04:27 PM when i was sixteen and 115 i curled 130 pounds. that's my single greatest weight lifting acomplishment holy shit man smash ko 09-18-2008, 05:15 PM mine is im 13 and in rugby american football boxing people wana my team or not againist me yes im built naturally can lift 40kg biceip curl and 103kg on my legs Naps 09-18-2008, 09:37 PM mine is im 13 and in rugby american football boxing people wana my team or not againist me yes im built naturally can lift 40kg biceip curl and 103kg on my legs 13 and curling 40kg?? You will want to worry about your pull ups, lat pull downs ect more. for curls try different variations, things like cable curls or preacher curls in addition to the normal db curls and db hammer curls.
