Hey everyone, my son had his first cross country race today. It was a mile and half and he did it in 18 min. 48 sec. Which is just fine for him since he's only been running for two weeks. I am happy he finished the race. He came home so wiped out that I got little arguement from him.....I didn't get to see his race, but his dad did. Which is perfect since his dad used to run cross country. Father and son bonding time. I don't run....lol. Another race next week.

Try and make it to his race.

After 8 years of football, i was so glad that my parents made almost all my games that is over 80 games - probly over 90 when i think about it.,

Sometimes having my mom and dad there after my games - even when i was 21 - was comforting.

its good to see your family at your emotional highs as well as lows.

You are a good mom. Dont ever think otherwise. :)

Thank you....

I try to make everything that the kids have going on. I didn't make it because I have been working on 50 costumes which are overdue. They have to be done by Monday. Unfortunately, that has to take priority right now. But hubby was off today so at least one of us was there.

My mom dropped my off at my soccers games and went to work out or read a book. When my mom came to see her first rugby game she saw me get kneed in the head which is funny. She is going to be at the joslins grappling championships to cheer for me. I think I meed to get some of the *****es from my classes out there too.

Not fair. :-( His dad loves him and doesn't make it to all of his events. Does that make him any less of a good dad? Besides, I am making money from these costumes which I spend on my kids, for things like his running shoes so he can run at the races. :)
