I wouldn't know where to start with our issues! Our owners have placed us on the edge of a cliff and they don't care if we topple down, as long as they get to jump out at that right time with the most amount of profit in their pockets.

They are broke. Hicks in particular is close to being bankrupt. they haven't put a dollar of their own cash into the club, all they have done is organise loans and finance packages with RBS which includes huge amounts of interest. It is great that we have had new players, but they have been financed through these deals with the banks, which are piling debts onto our books.

Our biggest source of profit which was intended to finance all of this was the revenue from our new stadium. However, Stanley park hasn't seen a spade. It has just been delayed for another year due to poor planning and a lack of financial input from the Yanks.

They know they need to sell up, but they are holding out for a ridiculous price which they have come up with themselves (which would give them the most profit) and are prepared to put our club on a tightrope to get it. The longer they take to sell to Dubai, the weaker we become and the further we are from the new stadium.

In the meantime fans are suddenly finding themselves faced with expensive membership schemes etc, whilst hearing of the Yanks enjoying first class flights and Jollys from their ridiculously high expense accounts. We also know that whilst the banks could force H+G to sell up, there is Man City in the background who will offer stupid money for our best players, which would buy G+H some negotiation time if they went down that road. I doubt the latter would happen, but it's a concern with these cowboys.

That is why there is a protest march going on from 11am at the Supporters club all the way into Anfield on Saturday. We need our owners out and we need to show the banks that they face huge opposition from within the club before their next planned review which takes place in a couple of weeks.
