I don't think Khan's people chose Prescott because they thought he would bring credibility to Khan's record. They assumed he was a bit of a banger who had been KO'ing bums and wasn't in Khan's league. I don't think anybody was more shocked than Khan when his jaw was knocked halfway around his face.

Now everyone's had a reality check, you need to look at Khan's record with an honest face. Don't get me wrong - it's good on the domestic/European circuit but he has been exposed enough times by Prescott, Limond, Gomez et al to show he is nowhere ready for the world stage. Khan will come back. I'd actually fancy him to beat Prescott in rematch, but he's still a work very much in progress. Murray would be an ideal comeback fight. It would be a comfortable win. I just hope Khan doesn't fall into the same trap that Audley fell into by getting to comfortable with his millions and losing the hunger that Prescott demonstrated.
