who is the more natural finisher Theo or Babel ?

Babel has the edge on goal tally allthough i think that is misleading as Walcott has been having a confidence crisis for the last 12 months and has lots of preasure heaped on his shoulders after his world cup inclusion

im not overreacting to Theo's hatrick its just ive always maintained that Theo is a natural goal scorer and a few months ago i commented on a vid on youtube and i was having an argument with a Liverpool fan cause i thought Walcott was a better finisher and he thought Babel was the better Finisher

who do you think is the more natural finisher ,better finisher

BTW the biased Pool fan has no need to comment we know he picks Babel by default because he is soo biased

watch the composure he never lashes at the ball placement

Theo. He can finish.

Both these goals show his finishing ability.

Babel is ****.

I don't believe anyone liverpool buys is good apart from Torress.

I have to respect Wengers judgement far more than Benitez.

Babel is actually much better through the middle than he is on the wing. Whether either of them can be described as a natural finisher is debatable.

Walcott does not get his chance down the middle though he is a striker not a winger

Babel has been pretty composed with the majority of chances which have came his way since he's been at Liverpool. Id like to see him used as a striker though so more chances would come is way.

Cant really say to much abut Walcott as i havent really seen enough of him. He was impressive the other night though and seems to be quickly maturing into a very good player.

i think Babel is a good player and he probably has the edge over Walcott when the ball is at his feet he has better control with the ball at pace etc but Walcott for me is the real finisher of the two

its like i dont think Michael Owen is a great finisher but he has great positioning and most of time his chances come when he is 5 ,10 yards out because of that great positioning and that IMO is why he has scored so many goals i dont think he is a clinical finisher by any stretch though

remember RVN before he left Man Utd he had not scored a goal from outside the box untill just before he left United you dont have to be a great finisher to be a great goal scorer IMO

Robbie Fowler was far more clincal than Owen IMO

As soon as Theo was one on one with the keeper, it was no doubt. He's got skills.. i never rated him that incredibly, until last night.

Neither has Babel really, not at Liverpool anyway. My inclination is that Walcott is too small to play through the middle, much will depend on how he develops in the next few years, he still has plenty of time ahead of him.

thats a fair point he does seem to struggle physically when played upfront but as you said he can develop that side of his game in time i dont think he will ever be a power house like Henry he is just not built that way but he can learn to hold defenders off better and shield the ball when he has to but he will probably be looking for through balls rather than being a link man but i agree with what you are saying he deffo needs to be streetwise if he is to play up top

Theo IMO. He's closer to being a proper striker than Babel, but they're both young so we'll see.

I actually wish Theo hadn't got that hattrick, because now he's going to get hyped out of all proportion, just like Rooney.

Babel scores more goals including alot from outside the box too and in the Champions League. But Theo is a much better player, because besides scoring more goals Ryan loses the ball alot and isn't getting as good as predicted.

You're very welcome, and it's also very sad that you care about so much about points. You should be more worried about your inability to use full stops. Kids nowadays!

It's grammar, and it's doesn't. You said mistakes which means you didn't do it intentionally. That's sad, I thought you were going to say you can't be asked because you think your a cool chav.

Seriously mate, I ain't even taking the piss. Your posts simply don't make sense! try writing them in english, yeah.

Repeating what i said to you a few pages back won't change the fact that I was right in prediction and you were wrong, asd always.

I'm more of a regular in the training forum, because unlike fat english armchair bums and PC warriors, I got to go to boxing now. The only reason why I watch so many fight tapes. In the meantime, you need to lose your virginity and learn about full stops.

Theo.

All of his goal against Croatie were great finishes and it showed great composure. I probably would have scuffed em all.

Theo probably.

I don't think of Babel as a great finisher. Theo will likely have years down the road in which he scores 30 goals or so.

Its impossible to say at this stage. Walcott looks the better finisher if you ask me to swing one way.

Babel's finishing is more in the Shearer mode in that he usually puts his boot through the ball, Walcott is more in the Ian Wright mode but its early days.

Babel scored 11 times last season and 1 today from the wing and mostly off the bench therefore he can obviously score goals plus he has 5 goals for Holland.

Different players, both quick (Walcott has the edge), both skillful (Again Walcott) but Babel is far larger and stronger.

Early days for both players, Nicky, we dont always see eye to eye mate, in regards to Babel, how many 20 year old wingers in their debut season manage to score 11 goals?

i agree

but i just like to add that Theo has started most of his games from the bench aswell but the difference is Theo is not a winger and has had to play on the wing in those sub apearences and IMO it knocked his confidence playing outta position

i think Babel has better feet than Walcott skillwise though MickyHatton

Perhaps mate, I have seen that much of Walcott but have seen a fair amount of Babel.

Babel has great feet but his first touch is terrible at the min, both players as shown yesterday can dribble and beat players. Also Babel is two years older than Walcott.

Theo's confidence is about as fragile as some 80 year old pensioner's legs after being mugged by some coloured fella in Brixton on a Saturday night.

Like I said, NSB is a waste of time for me as I would be eductaing the fools. WTF you want a medal because you've boxed? Alot of people in here have you turd. Wow wee he trained with pro's. It's not a baosting contest but while we are at it I have done that too and knocked a few out, in fact I've even done my pro medical and got a license! I'm electrifying and would probably knock you out.

That's why i have better things to do than spend an entire weekend crying like a girl on here. I like the way you used the past tence. Proves your a bum and that's why your still here at 5.30pm whereas I have to make my way to the gym to complete my post injury comeback!
