MMA is already mainstream. Showtime, CBS, ****e TV, and probably Versus all have bigger audiences than HDNet...

Man, I misread the title at first and though it said "De La Hoya Joins MMA" I would love to see that

So he can get into a speedo and climb on top of a man? I doubt it. Not without fishnet stockings and stilletos.

Meh.
Oscar didn't sound enthusiastic about MMA at all. His tone of voice was very uninspiring, and he didn't reference any specifics about the MMA business or fighters really.

He'll probably get involved though as it's a great business opportunity.

However, I don't think he gives a **** about the sport on the whole.

this is how he always talked....even for hyping/promoting a fight he always carried that tone..

anyone care to count how many times he said, "uhhhhh". must've been at least 20.Because De La Joto tries too hard w/ the whole "corporate image". He's trying to sound articulate but his lack of f**kin' education was biting him in the @ss during the interview.

Behind the Armani suits, and the $100 haircuts, he's nothin' but an East LA b***er.

Oscar trying to be in Bob Arum and Don King's world, loose the accent first pocho.
