I refuse to put my kids in daycare. I simply don't trust them.

Nobody will take better care of your kids then you, I don't even trust close relatives..

Saying I have no babysitter is my best excuse for work, cause you don't need an excuse to show!!:bounce::bounce:

Well the state as this VPK free Pre-K program, I wanted to get him ready for k next year.. put him in this one close to my house. Well orignally he started in this other one I felt comfortable with. But they said they had an opening at the one closer to me. I said it was fine as long as I could go see it and if I had a good feeling about it. I didn't have a good feeling at all. I said well I think I'll stay at the other one, the lady went crazy saying uhm no we have someone else for that other one. We've aleady placed your son here cause that's what you wanted. I told her the situation, she said well we can put you back on the waiting list but it's gone now so either waiting list or go here. I was pissy..was just like ok w/e. I said well if anything happens I'll just take him out.
All the workers are just basically white trash. I think they have a total of 10 teeth between the 5 of them  They watched a ton of tv, they forced the kids to pray to get a snack (which I addressed with them I'm christian but that's not right), and the final straw was when I went in the lady was throwing skittles at the ones that were good and quiet ..if they dropped it..oh well...if it hit one in the head..oh well. :ugh:

I took him out put him in a christain school..SOOOO Much better. He loves it!!

I completely realize that MANy people have no choice but to put their kids in daycare. Luckily, I do not have to put my kids in a daycare. I am self-employed and set my own hours. WHen I work, my husband watches our kids.

When I was in college, I worked ina daycare and it is scary what people do when they think no one is watching. You think you know people, but when they get stressed, some people are quick to snap at kids.

I agree completely!

True story: a daycare near where I live was way overcrowded. The ratop of adults to kids was not adequate. So, when no one was looking one of the kids STOMPED between another boy's legs while the boy was lying on the floor. The boy started screaming in pain. The adults didn't know what happened, but basically tried to get the boy "over it". The boy was in agony, but the adults thought he was faking. He refused to do anything (eat snack, play, have his nap), so they just left him alone. When the mom came to get him, she noticed he was in pain and asked him about it. A little girl whispered to the mom that another boy had hurt him "between his legs". The mom went off briefly on the adults, but they swore they knew nothing about it. She was pissed, but just wanted to take him home. That night she had to take him to the hospital. Turns out his testicles were ruptured or somethign like that and he had to have them removed. He will never be able to have kids. Just incredibly scary stuff!

If you have no choice but to put a kid in daycare (preschools are usually pretty good, but it is daycares that have the most problems), I would recommend dropping by as often as you can unannounced (late morning or during naptimes or whatever), just to see if any crazy crap is going on. Some daycares don't allow you to do this. I would steer clear from those.

Daycare is not the answer. Nobody NEEDS daycare. It is always a choice. You may need to take a hit economically in order to raise your children yourself rather than relying on strangers or even family...

This is one of many reasons why women belong in the kitchen! Preparing juniors food and bringing him up to be a human because being a mum is a full time job. All this bull**** equality crap has led to more women getting full time jobs, and ****ed up kids and teenage hoodies shanking each other. Women should not be allowed to work more than 4 hours per weekday IMO. If I had a wife she will be just for sex.
