Ring's p4p list has become a flat out joke over the last few years

Tarver doesn't deserve to be third. Where is Corrales?

tarver is like 35 years old, not even 25 fights, 2 loses.

only guy he beat was a way past his prime roy jones jr

Tarver third???? WTF  next they will be rating Glencoffe Johnson above the likes of Manny, Morales, Marquez, Winky and Toney.

Kostya shouldn't be in their either, he has been too inactive to be taken seriously in these rankings.

Esspicially since he lost to jones just before that. tarver at 3 is bull****.

Winky hasn't been given the respect he deserves for years. Only now the Shane Mosley lime light is on him he is getting the respect he does deserve. He is a great tactical fighter who utilises his lack of power well with a unbelieveable counter/combination punching defensive style. I have no issues with him been forth but Tarver at third is a joke.

BTW Winky will give us a replay of the first fight on November 20th when he fights Mosley again. Unless Mosley knocks him out i think he's lost again.

This list is one of the most stupid I've seen in recent times. Tarver 3rd? Toney at 9? Kostya still on the list? Funny in a sad kinda way.

Ring Magazine has never been good with rankings and p4p list so it is no surprise to me that thier list looks like that.

I'm trying to figure out how they ranked Tarver #3.

Tarver deserves to be in the top 10, based on his demolition of the guy who topped many folks' lists.
But, we shoulda learned our lesson with VERNON FORREST. I, myself, was guilty of putting him up near the top based on his first win over Mosley (who was my #1 guy). Forrest looked like **** in the second fight, & we know about his fights with Mayorga.

I certainly can't see putting Tarver over Morales & Pac....two guys who have impressive BODIES OF WORK...not just a decent resume & one very stellar victory.

I never could understand how their P4P rankings can be so out of wack and their rankings for each weight class can be so well done.

Thats kinda how I feel about Winky Wright, he can eventully a top pound for pound fighter, but not simply after I one great night against Shane Mosley. (a man who took a serious jump up in weight) It seems like everyone but me thinks he is right up there with the top fighters. I've always thought that Vargas won most of the rounds way back when they fought.
