View Full Version : *spoiler* About crying.

WE all know that Tito had many stupid comments; namely about calling Vitor weak-minded for crying when losing. Let's get that out of the way. He ****ed up on that one. He has ****ed up many times.

I have only laughed when a fighter cried, and that was when Ricco won. His tears were just silly.

But when Tito cried i felt very bad for him. I know the exact feelings he was experiencing. When you give all you have to something and then it is systematically dismantled, it is the worst feeling in the world. This applies to all things - fights, art, and relationships. While the whole room was laughing at tito's tears, i felt like ****, cuz i knew what he was feeling.

Oh well, Tito was dominated.

I will be wearing all my Punishment **** all week.

I feel the same way. I'm not a Tito fan at all but I think he showed he's not all about the money and actually cares about the sport. If he was just in it for money he would have just shrugged it off and signed the contract to fight Liddell.

you ever think he might have been crying cause he got an actual spanking in the octagon by a 40 year old man?

Curly Howard

He's shown a lot of disrespect towards other fighters. He's earned what he gets out of this loss from the fans but he gained some respect from me.

All kidding aside........who ****ing cares? He cried.....he lost the biggest fight of his career and lost......that's worth crying over. I don't think any less of him.....sure, I'll joke about it to get a laugh and to make Blake sad.....but, I really don;t believe any of the bull**** coming out of my own mouth. He's a Great fighter who fought someone better than him.....and he lost. End of story.

I would've cried too.

I posted this in another thread:

True.......plus, losing takes away a little of his mystique.........is mystique the right word? What I'm trying to get too is that he's built this bad ass image for years now and has been crushing people. He hasn't lost in a long time. All the haters will some out now and talk ****. ALL the haters.....and there are plenty of them out there.

I don't really feel sorry for him. Anyone crying tugs me a bit, but after Tito made fun of others for doing it, and the years of blatant disrespect towards other fighters it didn't last long. I'd bet that had Randy lost and cried Tito would've said something, and we'd probably hear about it for a while in post fight interviews.

Felt it for a second, but no. In my eyes he fully deserves anything he gets on this.

I kinda felt bad for Tito when he cried. He works hard, and takes his fights seriously. Yes he's arrogant, but this was a learning experience for him. It taught him that he's not the top of the world, that there are people better. Couture is clearly above Tito in fighting abilities, and unless Tito caught him sleeping, it wouldn't matter how many rematches they had -- Couture would win.

This became evident to Tito that night. Someone had clearly dominated him, leaving absolutely no doubt who was the better fighter. He couldn't talk any trash and wouldn't dare go for a rematch. He had no excuses either. It was a huge wake up call for him, and I think we'll see a different Tito as a result -- one who is more respectful and grown up...and probably one who fights a lot harder.

I'm anxious to see Tito's return. I've never really been a fan per say, but I don't hate him either. We'll see how he changes after this loss.

Good post. I don't think he would've cried if he lost a competitive fight, but that was complete domination for 25 minutes by Couture and Tito knew it. I don't think that there is any way in hell he should fight Randy again in his next fight. He needs to fight Chuck and get that monkey off of his back first.

I cry all the friggin' time, when I catch myself in my zipper, when the raiders get killed, when I'm feelinf Maudlin....I don't hold it against Tito for crying, I hold against him all the disrespect and **** he's talked and shown over the years. Getting spanked and sent home crying like a little girl is something he richly earned. I do respect him for being a tough fighter and a gracious loser though.

Well, if I got my ass thoroughly served on a platter by a 40-year-old man in front of a national audience (not to mention spanked in the ass as well), I'd be crying, too.
Seriously though, Tito crying just shows that he's human, like most of us.

While sitting in in Ghost's living room.... I felt like ****in Eric Cartman when I saw Tito crying... his lips trembling trying to hold it back and his face scrunching up to make him look even more like an albino Chimpamzee. I felt like Cartman for two reasons... number one... I had my faced stuffed with weed cookies and cake.... number two... because the site of his tears brought tears of joy to my eyes. I wish I could have collected every tear that dropped from his face that night so I can jump into a pool of it and swim in the happiness. The only thing I can wish for now is that Chuck goes ahead and cracks that huge ****in Noggin of Tito's in half to permanently impair his speech. That way... win or lose... I don't have to listen to his stupid, ****y, Tysonish voice of his. I have NO LOVE for any fighter that talks that much ****! I can't believe he was talking **** about Vitor crying after his fight. ATLEAST HE WON HIS FIGHT!
Earlier in his career I think he had to come out ****y cuz he was fighting the Lion's Den basically. It was him against the whole team really. That's when you gotta pull out all the stops. But when you're the champ and you start running ur mouth like u were in a ****in marathon... and then turn down fights for a slew of b.s. reasons...that's when I want to witness your demise. I'm glad to have witnessed his and hope he will continue to get SPANKED until ALL that **** talking is kn****ed out of his ****y ass....

That is all.

Well... I wouldn't call it ingnorant... although it may be a bit extreme. It can't be ignorant because it's based on fact... the fact that Tito cried.... and I loved every second of it... those are facts... so I don't think that the word ignorant applies.

I like both Tito & Randy, sure Tito has acted arrogant & macho alot, but I really think it is part of what made his fans love him too, you know, his bad boy image.

Seeing the look on his face hurt, because I think he finally knew he had been taking his opponents for granted, & hearing the booing had to have made him wonder if he could ever get it back.

Being on top of the heap so long, the poster boy of UFC, then to become the laughing stock in a public spanking. I imagine he really grew up in those 25 minutes of fighting...... it about broke my heart to see him put the belt around Randy.

All the other trash talk towards him, the ducking Chuck, ect, he still knew "he" held the belt. Now he doesn't.

Sometimes things happen in a life that make a person change. Maybe Tito has gained a different level of maturity, knowing he has to "earn" some fans back. I think he will do it.

His emotions showing made me realize he how much feeling he has for this sport, how much of his self he puts into it. Maybe he has been spoiled, now he realizes what other fighters feel, the worries, & really feeling the loss, can't fault him for that. If nothing else, I admire him more now.

I think he'll be back & showing people what he is made of. A talented fighter..... with a lot of heart. :)

Ahhhh... leave it to a pretty lady to soften things up :)... well... whatever happens from here on out... I'm happy that I was lucky enough to him eat a nice fat piece of humble pie. I'm sure he'll be back... I just hope that GIANT EGO doesn't come back with him!

Maybe I deserve the spanking for talking so badly about Tito... any takers??? Momita? :noangel:
