From Tito Ortiz

Tito aplogized for his loss and stated how angry he was at himself. Looking back on the fight, he mentioned that he "didn't have anything left after the second round." He also suggested that he might have over-trained. He equated this loss to Ali vs. Frazier when Ali got knocked out and then came back better than ever. He said every true champion needs a loss once in awhile.

He said that he's willing to take another ass beating from Randy if Randy is willing to give one. Randy said he'd fight anyone they'd put in front of him. Just when it seemed that a rematch was forming, Dana White stepped in to say something to the effect of "we don't know if it's going to be Couture vs. Belfort or Tito vs. Liddell next. We're just going to have to talk with everyone and see what happens."

Tito said that for his next fight he's blowing off all the PR. "It's all about Tito Ortiz next time," he said. Tito claimed that he will be in strict isolation, not talking to anyone.

I think he's handling this much better than I thought he would.
No faking injuries or anything. I've never been a Tito fan but I got to hand it to him for taking this loss like a man.

How would he not though? I mean, he did get his ass handed to him for 25 straight minutes...hahahaha....I still can't believe that ****........jesus christ, man.

I know what you mean. But, if he had said some **** like that....he would've lost even more respect from his already dwindling amount of fan support.

you know what killed me was when they interued all the celebs at ringside everyone of them picked tito i wonder what they think now

I just expected him to either ***** because they never got stood up. (not that I think they should have) or throw a fit and stomp out of the cage. At least by crying he showed he does give a **** about the sport and winning and not just about the money.

True.......plus, losing takes away a little of his mystique.........is mystique the right word? What I'm trying to get too is that he's built this bad ass image for years now and has been crushing people. He hasn't lost in a long time. All the haters will some out now and talk ****. ALL the haters.....and there are plenty of them out there.

Couture beating Ortiz was ****ing great. Now, I'll admit that I picked Ortiz to win, but I sure was happy that Couture won. But who does he fight next? Does Belfort deserve a title shot already with only one win in his latest comeback?

well the rumor before the fight was whoever won is supposed to fight vitor and the loser fights chuck so we'll see what happens
