You should add more bicep curls, they help a lot.
Maybe you should run the moon as well.
sukhenkoy 09-05-2008, 05:18 PM And you have to wake up at 5:29 a.m if you ever want to make it in boxing.
markeeta 09-06-2008, 11:54 PM Not gonna compete with you , but no. That looks like a snapshot of a day you'd train, cause if you did that every day then you would need more variety and if you only go to boxing three days a week then I don't know what you do on the other days.
I find myself putting in more hours than most, simply because repetition is what builds my skills up. I personally need to focus on a particular skill for an hour or so because that is how I improve. And I'm an obsessive twat who thinks left jabs for an hour is fun.

I'm the same way but everything builds off the jab so isn't it the most important punch?
Sadler 09-07-2008, 07:35 AM I think you're lying mate.
You said you're 5'4 and only weigh 95 lbs.
If you do weight lifting especially squats, you will be alot heavier than 95 lbs.

weight lifting doesn't make you heavy, eating more kcals then u use does.

im not trying to be rude,
but lifting weights increases muscle mass, which increases weight.
being 95 lbs at 5'4 is the equivalent of being 105 lbs at 5'11, which to be honest i dont see happening.

incorrect; weight lifting doesn't make you heavy, eating more kcals then u use does, as stated before -- muscle mass is increased by increasing caloric intake above what you need to maintain weight, while performing resistance exercises as well... however, i do agree that 95 @ 5'4 is very unlikely
mspiegelo 09-07-2008, 10:47 PM to increase muscle mass, you really need to be taking in enough protein as well as calories. you should be getting 1-1.5 grams of protein for every kg that you weigh...

JayCoe 09-08-2008, 11:55 AM Get a ****ing job! Either you're short and incredibly light or you're a kid, if so, get some friends!
I respect what you do, you're probably incredibly healthy. Your training regime is impressive.
As for the guy who claimed that if you did squats you'd be heavier ...Stop it. You're right in saying weight comes from calories, the type of weight is determind by what you do. So if I eat 3500 calories a day and sit on my ass, i'm going to put on weight in fat, if I eat 3500 calories a day and do weights i'm going to put on muscle mass, if I eat 3500 calories a day and do rigerous cardio/boxing training, i'm going to get lean toned muscle, though the mass may not go up particularly. Doing sqauts may not even build muscle mass if you're doing high reps low weight, it will most likely serve to maintain weight (roughly) but tone up and build endurance.
End of.
