i **** with dipset...used to be crazy bout the diplomats i was keepin the movement movin for a long time... still got them in the whip i cant lie, but im sorry to say they have fallen apart. Cam was supposed to be workin with Hell Rell on an album called Uptown boys... Now that has potential... Cam also needs to drop a solo... but we will see if that ever happens, hes eatin off that juelz money right now

I wish they were still a group. They made real good music together and held it down for ny from when diplomatic immunity dropped to killa season. They had alotta songs on the radio and made one of the last real big anthems for new york with "ballin".

Only Dipset I liked was Cam's "Come Home With Me" album and his "Purple Haze" album. Other than that, I'll pass on them... although I did some what like the first Diplomat album.

first of all, Cam'Ron arguably has the most consistantly best intro of any other artists of all time. (btw, dont get it twisted, the intro on Killa Season started after the 40 Cal. promo sample)

Loves me some Cam. People that don't like him take him too seriously. He makes (made) good music and never put me off the way Wayne does today.

Purple Haze was a gem. That album had a lot of replay value.

I wouldnt care if camron dissed me as long its funny...which im sure it would be. If he had 2 or 3 classic cds i would put him in my top 10. Hes got everything except the classics....in my opinion diplomatic immunity was the closest he came but that was a group album. I can make that a classic by takin out a couple songs and making it one cd. Cam had 3 or 4 cds that i would give 4.5 too....

The biggest difference between jay-z and camron is that jay-z dropped 3 classic albums but after that theres not much of a difference. Both of them get the best beats, they're about the same lyrically, they got great flows, jay-z has the edge their but camrons one of the closest.

You gotta remember that i've listened to alotta jay-z in the past, im actually listening to american gangster right now. And i listen to alotta camron...i know alotta people will disagree. Camron does have some unimpressive verses here and there but who doesnt? Some of his radio songs dont have the best lyrics but what rapper doesnt dumb down their lyrics for their singles? Yea and the only reason why i like cam more then jay-z is because his stuff is newer to me. I just started really listening to him the past couple of years where I've probably been listening to jay-z for 10 years. This would explain why i listen to american gangster more then any other jay-z cd, because its the freshest to me even though he has the 3 cds that i feel are classics. I listen to camron more then i listen to jay-z, biggie, nas, 2pac, etc. But camrons not even in my top 15, as a rapper i might feel hes similar to jay-z but hes never dropped a classic in my opinion, although coming very close a couple times. Diplomatic Immunity might be a classic, very close. Im not the biggest fan of double cd's except only a couple, but thats still a group effort, not a solo. If i was to decide to call it a classic it would bump cam up maybe a couple spots but if hes not top 10 by now as much as i like his music he'll never be.

I gotta say to sum things up, i think jay-z's vocab is a little more expanded then cams not that hes dumb, both are underrated lyrically in my opinion. Jay-z was real impressive on AG....i dont wanna start another game war but jay-z at 40 years old is better then the game ever was/will be, not that the game is bad but hes not jay-z.

And those sites had their smart posters but their were several kids that went around posting "nas lost" in random threads, and making threads saying some new rapper like soulja boy is better then the gza. Theres alotta ignorant posters on other sites but i dont think we have any here on boxing scene....except one poster who is even newer then me...
