No World Cup for England in 2010. He's nearly as bad as that curly cunt Keegan. Flab 09-01-2008, 11:37 AM Owen is only 9 goals away from being the highest goal scorer for England. -CANE- 09-01-2008, 11:41 AM Owen is only 9 goals away from being the highest goal scorer for England. Owen is currently at white hart lane having a medical after Newcastle accepted a £2m bid. Add a 0 on the end of that and you have a deal. -CANE- 09-01-2008, 11:49 AM Add a 0 on the end of that and you have a deal. That's all they'll get for him, next year it will be a big fat 0. Sir Tom Jones 09-01-2008, 12:08 PM Heard Owen was supposed to be available for as little as 2million in the paper. Crazy really, 2million can't buy you a world class striker else where. Addition 09-01-2008, 12:20 PM Peter Crouch? Yeah right, he can only score against **** teams. The Wire 09-01-2008, 12:55 PM The only strikers who can score for England have been dropped? That stupid ****ing greaseball needs the sack. No World Cup for England in 2010. Couldn't agree more, certainly about Owen. He's our best striker by miles. If he was Brazilian and called Oweninho he'd be playing for Barcelona and be worth 30 million. TRAVI$ 09-01-2008, 01:47 PM Peter Crouch? Yeah right, he can only score against **** teams. Did'nt he get two hat tricks against the Gunners? No flames. Flab 09-01-2008, 02:43 PM Peter Crouch? Yeah right, he can only score against **** teams. Crouch has scored the same amount of goals as Rooney in half the amount of games. Addition 09-01-2008, 04:36 PM Did'nt he get two hat tricks against the Gunners? No flames. I'm referring to England not club level. He scored two hat tricks? I know he scored one but i'm sure he scored two. Crouch has scored the same amount of goals as Rooney in half the amount of games. But against **** opposition unlike Rooney's who has a better record. Spambo boy 09-01-2008, 04:39 PM I'm referring to England not club level. He scored two hat tricks? I know he scored one but i'm sure he scored two. But against **** opposition unlike Rooney's who has a better record. Rooney is the most overated player to ever wear the shirt. Flab 09-01-2008, 04:43 PM Rooney is the most overated player to ever wear the shirt. I've been saying that for years. So glad he joined Man Utd and not Newcastle. But against **** opposition unlike Rooney's who has a better record. He scored our goal against Croatia, important goal against a good side who are rated 5th in the World. Flab 09-01-2008, 04:45 PM Crouch was top goal scorer in the euro 2008 qualifiers. Spambo boy 09-01-2008, 04:46 PM I can't believe the cunt is still playing Beckham. Spambo boy 09-01-2008, 04:49 PM I personally would've left Owen out, but the lanky freak should be in there. Becks should **** off in place of SWP or Lennon or maybe agbonglahor. He's too old and won't even be about in 2010. Flab 09-01-2008, 04:51 PM Rooney scored 2 goals. Defoe scored 2. Owen scored 4. Crouch scored 5. Spambo boy 09-01-2008, 04:54 PM You agree with the greeseball leaving out England's best goal scorer? Yeah, I would go with the form players, Owen only plays 3 games a year. Flab 09-01-2008, 04:55 PM Yeah, I would go with the form players, Owen only plays 3 games a year. Owen hasn't gone 4 games without scoring a goal. Spambo boy 09-01-2008, 04:57 PM Owen hasn't gone 4 games without scoring a goal. That's great but the bulk of those were scored ten years ago. No doubt he is a great goalscorer, but it is well documented that he needs games to get to his peak fitness level. He hasn't had enough games lately. MickyHatton 09-01-2008, 04:57 PM I can't believe the cunt is still playing Beckham. Me neither, he used to be able to get to approx 10 yards from the by line before he crossed which made it difficult for the defenders to judge the flight, now he cross from 35 yards out and the centre backs can just head them away. Great servant but time for a change. England's problem is that they play with a combination of four out of these: Gerrard, Lampard, Barry, Beckham, Cole, Hargreaves and Carrick in the midfield(Couple of others) but each of these players wants the ball all of the time so we end up with all four midfielders within 15 yards of the centre circle. Then we add Rooney into the mix who cannot decide if he is a striker or midfielder and he wants the ball so we then have five players in a narrow area. This isolates the lone forward and gives us no width or penetration. Too many primadonna's. No World Cup for England in 2010. i have to agree with you about not picking Owen :wtf1: id rather pick an Michael Owen who has questionable fitness levels at the monement rather than a guy like Defoe who keeps fluffing chances upfront for England and a guy who has never scored more than 15 premier league goals in one season we are going to get spanked by Croatia :wtf1:has Jermain ****ing Jenas done to get in the side he is ****ing ****e Nicky_Hatton 09-01-2008, 06:38 PM I've followed united for the last 2/3 seasons as an impartial/slightly biased fan and have to say rooney is miles overratted. Tevez is far superior. oh and Petey crouch is quality. |
