View Full Version : Warren keen on Irelands Kenny Egan and Darren Sutherland alza1988 09-01-2008, 11:13 AM http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/august08/august08_warren_keen_on_irish_duo.html Mayfeather 09-01-2008, 11:33 AM Both good boxers, Warren bugs me badly though Joe2608 09-01-2008, 09:16 PM That'll be another 2 british boxers ruined by Frank Warren then. !!! Beowulf !!! 09-01-2008, 09:21 PM That'll be another 2 british boxers ruined by Frank Warren then. IRISH. 'Kin Hell. Alexis Vastine 09-09-2008, 08:04 PM Part of the British Isles. Also note that Ulster (which is part of UK) compete as Ireland at the olympics! One of them is an Ulster lad I'm sure of it. i think Sutherland's style is more suited to the pro's than DeGale's. Muttley85 09-09-2008, 09:03 PM They should both sign with Brian Peters, hes got a deal with RTE and got Lee and Duddy plenty of exposure there (he didnt promote their fights in US just ones in Ireland). Hes done a really good job bringing along Paul McCloskey. RonRoss 09-09-2008, 09:08 PM Part of the British Isles. Also note that Ulster (which is part of UK) compete as Ireland at the olympics! One of them is an Ulster lad I'm sure of it. i think Sutherland's style is more suited to the pro's than DeGale's. Ireland isn't **** all to do with Britain anymore. I hope Warren doesn't ruin Sutherland ... I like him. Muttley85 09-09-2008, 09:14 PM Irish light fly bronze medalist Paddy Barnes is a brit, as is anyone from northen ireland. RonRoss 09-09-2008, 09:17 PM Irish light fly bronze medalist Paddy Barnes is a brit, as is anyone from northen ireland. Who did he represent in the Olympics? Britain or Ireland? Muttley85 09-09-2008, 09:46 PM Who did he represent in the Olympics? Britain or Ireland? If you read that last post and following boxing you probably know that he represented Ireland at the Olympics. Point is that he has a British passport and is a British citizen, making him as british as anyone born in Wales, Scotland or England. Clegg 09-10-2008, 08:35 AM Part of the British Isles. Irrelevant. The British Isles is a geographical name, like Europe. You can be in the British Isles without being British, just like you can be in Europe without being in the EU. Clegg 09-10-2008, 08:36 AM Who did he represent in the Olympics? Britain or Ireland? Who did Andre Berto represent? Iamnotausername 09-10-2008, 08:56 AM Keep Ireland British!!!!!!! Alexis Vastine 09-14-2008, 10:52 PM Irrelevant. The British Isles is a geographical name, like Europe. You can be in the British Isles without being British, just like you can be in Europe without being in the EU. I agree. Especially with Ulster being a reluctant member of the UK. It is disturbing to read how desperate the mainland Brits are for talent that they have to claim Ulsters men!!! No wonder poor Amir Khan had his bum licked. Muttley85 09-15-2008, 08:56 PM I agree. Especially with Ulster being a reluctant member of the UK. Northern Irish people want to be British, Irish people want Northern Ireland to be part of Ireland. If they where both on the same side of the argument there wouldnt be any conflict. RiZo is Gay 09-16-2008, 02:27 PM Will you stupid english wankers ever shut the **** up? Yeah maybe paddy has an english passport... but he fought for ireland in the olympics so what do you think that say about how he feels about your ****in Scum filled country?? Why would anyone want to have anything to do with sports in England, they hype everything up and then get laughed at!! E.G. Amir Khan, Naseem Hamed, Ricky hatton and of course your gay football team! Sure yous showed the whole world the night floyd bashed hatton how ****in low you's are by booing the american national anthem!!! I guarantee you if you ask paddy barnes what nationality is he? :****you: And by the way... Ireland is greater country then England will ever be! You's are the most looked downed on nation in the world and lick americas ass!! Ireland is a greater country then england will ever be and before you start gettin into politics about what irish people want do your ****in homework and learn about what your sayin you ****in downsyndrome cabbage! **** THE QUEEN!! The Monk 09-16-2008, 03:10 PM Don't hold back on your first post eh... You do realise that alot of people in England have Irish roots? Me personally, I am catholic with 3 Irish born grandparents, RIP. One day people on both sides of the Irish sea will realise we are actually quite alike, until then though I expect this silly hatred to carry on. On topic, I hope Egan turns professional. He was my favourite boxer at the olympics and I think his style would definately suit the pros. The robbery he suffered in the final was a joke as well. Brian13 09-16-2008, 05:38 PM 1. Egan will probably wouldn't go with Warren because Bernard Dunne's relations run the club he fights out of and would probably tell him to go against Warren. 2. Sutherland said before the Olympics he was going pro , so he might be already signed |
