kanye and wayne are both average lyrically, sadly. That just shows how skills have badly declined for me to consider those 2 average. I like some of lil waynes songs, i thought he was alot better on the carter 3 mixtape then he was on the actual carter 3. He just keeps gettin worse.

Im not hating on your opinion though, if you wanna say lil wayne sucks i respect that because i realize if was around in the 90's when rappers were far more skilled this current version of lil wayne would be trash compared to onyx, wu-tang, black moon, and whoever else. I think overall he is average lyrically. But I think he compensates for that with the artistic ability, flow and charisma. Not to mention hes a great producer.

wayne = garbage dude cant rap even when he writes his music. And he cant freestyle to save his life. when he freestyles all he does is say the same word over and over. Dude dont make no sense.

Perfect comparison...i think game does it more often but theres still the name dropping which to me effects the quality of his cd's more then his songs. It gives them a mixtape feel...but theres already been a war on the whole name dropping thing so i think i should drop that. But i do consider game to be above average because he does have more multis then kanye...he'll rhyme 3 syllables more frequently then kanye does but i dont think game is far above average. Hes really between average and above average in my opinion.

i was listening to lil wayne's dear summer today, that was crazy. it was real deep.

I'm surprised Ye catches heat. I think he's nice on the mic period. I really don't like how people always drop the "compared to what's out now he's nice," As if you are ashamed to like an artist. Lyrically I think Ye is nice and sometimes really dope (see last verse on Gone and both Diamonds versions).

But this is about Wayne. Wayne sometimes has some average verses. And then there's other times when he's really nice. I think he's lyrically inconsistent on C3. But for the most part C2 was lyrically ill throughout. But even if he's average at times his whole flow and what not gets him over and makes it hot.

Kanye is below average lyrically, but I like him for his creativity and flow Wayne is average. Game is slightly above average.

As for all the Southern cats that answer every question about wayne by talking about his money lol it's like 50 cent is now, you won't be able to talk to them untill the Wayne wave is over.

i dont think kanye west even writes his his own rhymes, there was some other chicago cat that they said writes kanye's ryhmes, kanye even raps with the same style as this guy. basically, kanye isnt creative at all, he stole his rapping style from someone else.

I like Wayne but I get what you all mean comparing him to the Game, as in they can both step up every now and again but are not consistent enough to keep it up. Tha Carter 3 wasn't all that it was cracked up to be the same as LAX

Wayne is lyrically average, sometimes he drops a good verse and sometimes he doesn't and it sounds horrible and off point. He's too inconsistent for me.
