LOL!! It's not what I have done or do 'per se', it is unfortunately difficult to find other women who get out and live life to it's fullest in 'forestry' style. The other downside is that men are not socially accustomed to 'playing' with women, but are more used to 'playing' with guys in a sports based level of competition. Hell, all I want/need is a guy who can handle doing all of that with me. And that is actually very difficult for men or women to do. Women aren't used to doing the stuff men traditionally do, and men aren't even used to getting out in the dirt with girls. It's just frustrating, because it is so damned simple and lots of fun.

How right you are!! D #1 is going to college, isn't thinking about being married. She's thinking of a career. She wants to be a nurse. And not just any nurse, she talking about getting her Bacholer's so she go into administration and the like within her field. D #2 isn't sure of what she wants to do just yet, but she has such a drive inside herself and she is smart. I am so proud of my girls.... :) I have told all three of my kids, do what you want! Be who you want to be! If they want college, tech school, whatever, we will support that. It's their life, it's their choice. At least after they've graduated and turned 18.... ;-)

I couldnt agree more, I think this is why I find it so difficult to have female friends here in the US. Thats kind of you to say. I thought about counseling for two seconds, and decided that wildland firefighting and disaster response was more gratifying and adrenaline filled than trying to get people to act on what you had advised them to do. I've also noticed that a lot of people do not listen to rational, practical advice, but are strangely addicted to high maitenance, emotional drama (they only want you to placate their stupidity), which is a roundabout form of being an attention whore. And those peeps drive me totally nuts. So, I prefer the cut of peeps who have a 'graveyard' sense of humour mixed with a deep love of disaster response (firefighters, cops, rescue workers, FEMA peeps, etc), they are of the highest character and value based resolve in my humble opinion.:cool:

Sacto did not use to be like that. In Montana, you get your friends and shoot the ****er and dump his/her body up in the mountains.
