But, Joe Louis is the BEST puncher ever in the heavyweight division. Joe was history's most complete offensive machine. GasPed 11-03-2004, 12:34 PM Shavers. Then Foreman, Tyson and the superheavies (Lewis, Klit*2) JOM'S 11-03-2004, 12:46 PM I'll go for what my Pop told me, George Foreman, legend says one punch can put a cow down.... dempseyfire what's diff between sheer punching power & one punch power bigdlb12 11-03-2004, 01:05 PM what no chris byrd??? :o I too would have to say E. Knicksman20 11-03-2004, 01:30 PM Like someone said: Shavers, Foreman, & Tyson. TheFairPole 11-03-2004, 02:28 PM Tyson, George, and Wlad. :D and Shavers too... jabsRstiff 11-03-2004, 02:33 PM Tyson, George, and Wlad. Get outta here. TheFairPole 11-03-2004, 02:42 PM Why cause i put Wlad??? jabsRstiff 11-03-2004, 02:42 PM that's right. GxBrak 11-03-2004, 02:45 PM tyson, earnie shavers, and a lot of experts say cleveland williams was among the hardest hitters but i dont really know realheavyhands 11-03-2004, 02:47 PM foreman and shavers.. if tyson was never converted he would of been there Truth 11-03-2004, 03:47 PM Tyson, Foreman, Liston, Shavers mic573 11-03-2004, 03:54 PM I think George Foreman is quite possibly the hardest hitting fighter ever. jabsRstiff 11-03-2004, 03:56 PM I think George Foreman is quite possibly the hardest hitting fighter ever. I don't agree. If Earnie Shavers or Joe Louis hit Frazier as much as Fore....wait, that's not possible, Frazier woulda been out long before that. realheavyhands 11-03-2004, 04:01 PM yea ok.. frazier was a beast he would never stop comin Champoreeno 11-03-2004, 04:18 PM Ali -- who took from alot of those listed on the board -- said Shavers hit the hardest of anyone he ever faced. cple 11-03-2004, 04:18 PM Muhammad Ali, who fought the likes of Frazier, Liston, and Foreman, called Earnie Shavers the hardest hitting fighter he ever faced. That's enough for me. jack_the_rippuh 11-03-2004, 04:55 PM What the hell do experts know about who hits the hardest. Have they taken a punch from those mother-****ers? RockyMarciano 11-03-2004, 06:22 PM Foreman then Marciano INFAMOUZ 11-03-2004, 06:29 PM I think its George Foreman TysonForeman 11-03-2004, 07:12 PM There have been tons of guys who could hit insanely hard. I wonder how hard George Foreman would hit with those 2oz gloves they wore during the Corbett-Fitzimmons era. It seems like Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Jack Dempsey caused the most damage with their punches though, could be the gloves. I don't know if Foreman ever gave someone serious injuries. John L. Sullivan supposedly deformed peoples faces...but that's with skintight gloves, basically oven mitts. Memorex 11-03-2004, 08:25 PM What the hell do experts know about who hits the hardest. Have they taken a punch from those mother-****ers? thats true lol ChrististheAnswer 11-03-2004, 09:02 PM No question its Iron Mike Tyson Binks 11-03-2004, 09:12 PM tyson, shavers, foremen phallus 11-03-2004, 10:00 PM i think Shavers is the hardest hitter ever, i'll take Ali's word, he sampled some of the harderst punchers in history. He took Liston's, Foreman's, Frazier's, and Marciano's shots, i think we should listen to Ali, he would know. "Experts" didn't get hit with what Ali did muay 11-03-2004, 10:21 PM What the hell do experts know about who hits the hardest. Have they taken a punch from those mother-****ers? Exactly.;) Clever post Jack :D loangunZ 11-03-2004, 11:28 PM Mike would be my pick SonnyG8R 11-03-2004, 11:51 PM Ivan Drago hands down. comepana 11-04-2004, 12:17 AM Agreed, that man could kill a great boxer with his power. phallus 11-04-2004, 12:30 AM comepana i'm hypnotized by your avatar strictlydope 11-04-2004, 02:41 AM Shavers, Foreman, Tyson, Liston JOM'S 11-04-2004, 04:18 AM i think Shavers is the hardest hitter ever, i'll take Ali's word, he sampled some of the harderst punchers in history. He took Liston's, Foreman's, Frazier's, and Marciano's shots, i think we should listen to Ali, he would know. "Experts" didn't get hit with what Ali did I was going with what my Pop said Foreman, but if Ali said that it's Shavers then, I am sure my dad will also believe Ali.... Dark Destroyer 11-04-2004, 05:01 AM My pick is Mike Tyson, look what he did to Larry Holmes!!! Don't get me wrong i think all the others were hard hitters but Mike had something different. jabsRstiff 11-04-2004, 07:02 AM Wez.... Holmes also says Shavers was the hardest hitter he ever faced. & Jack....no one knows for sure....but, if we can't JUDGE who the best hitters are....than I don't want to hear YOU say Whitaker & Floyd were great boxers,. I mean, c'mon EXPERT....how the f*ck would YOU know ? Sidestep_1 11-04-2004, 07:15 AM Tyson, Foreman, Liston, Shavers Maybe not creative just to quote, but I too see it this way ;) . realtim 11-04-2004, 07:54 AM Should probably agree with ali shavers, number of cases could be made for Louis who kod guys with flurrys of punches, Foreman did have power. Max Baer did have scary power aswell. Dempsey had good power aswell. John L Sullivan hit hard too. 2 many to name one by one. FistoftheDallasStar 11-07-2004, 01:09 AM Foreman and Tyson in that order. I think a 40 year old fighter still having the ability to knock out a 20 something Heavyweight Champ in Michael Moorer is all that needs to be said. Amazing. MikeHunt 11-07-2004, 01:12 AM It has to be Shavers or Foreman............Why didn't these two ever fight? ibeestingin 11-07-2004, 03:13 AM I'd say Shavers, Foreman, Tyson and Liston. Louis would come after them. loangunZ 11-07-2004, 03:41 AM tyson I mean look at the shot he put on Micheal Johnson. I don't think I've ever seen a punch like that before. plexmc 11-07-2004, 06:08 AM sonny liston |
