View Full Version : Mom is proud
nance 09-19-2003, 04:33 PM For all the times I have complained about my son. I am now going to brag. He has made me proud.
A kid in one of his classes showed him a marijuana leaf that he had in his wallet. This kids threatened my son if he told anyone. When I picked him up for his psychologist appointment, he told me about it. I asked him what he was going to do. He said he was going to tell security but wanted me to go with him. So I did and they took the kid out of class and he had it. The police arrived when I was leaving to arrest the kid. I am so very proud of my son and his in his decision. If someone wants to do that stuff, fine. Just don't do it on school campuses. Keep it away from kids.....but KUDOS to my kid. This is the kind of kid I know he can be....a kid who makes the right decision.

It's not tattling if you are protecting someone by saying what the heck is happening. He's protecting himself, his classmates and that kid, whether or not he realizes it.....
And it is a NO. I would just let him tell you H*** NO!!:)
Trust me, if one of my friends calls the police on me..its taddleing and heads are going to roll

If he had a couple of kilograms in his backpack, that would be bragging worthy.

14 years old?? Ok, he's gonna get beaten up by every pothead in the school, which is probably quite a few if it's like the schools up here. Hell, if I was 14, I'd probably join in. Now he's gonna have the reputation of being a rat bag for telling on a kid who had A FRICKIN LEAF. Your son better bring some sorta weapon to school from now on.

As bad as some schools are, ours isn't that bad. And my son did the right thing. The kid who he ratted on doesn't even remember my son's name.
