Any opinions on this fight? Pacquiao can ****ing crack big time, but Barrera is so damn good and has tons of experience. I think that might be too much for Pacquiao.

Pac Man should fight Juan Manuel Marquez next. Then that should end all the debate about who's really the top 126-pounder in the world is.

just curious, what's the real scoop about a possible pac/marco rematch? news here in the philippines states that a rematch is in manny's contrat while other says there is no such clause? any worD?

i think manny should fight JMM but isn't there a mandated title dfense lined up for manny?

Yes, Manny does have a rematch clause in his contract and it's up to Barrera to pursue it. However, after seeing how badly he was beaten, I don't think Barrera's management--or the boxing public--needs to watch another beatdown. So, I think Manny vs. Barrera Part II is dead in the water.

As for his next fight, Manny's management said he'll be back in April. Nobody knows who it'll be against, although there is speculation that he might get a shot against JMM for all of his belts. IMO, I think if he can beat JMM, he can beat anybody.

My guess for Manny's next fight would be Manuel Medina, the WBO champ. HBO will air it and I think it would be a good way to re-introduce Manny to the mainstream. It's an easy fight for Manny. He can showcase his skills against a still reputable name, so this is the logical next step for him. Then, after Manny wins impressively, I think a superfight with JMM in the summer with a PPV broadcast is in order.

agree. manny might need a good 'tuneup' fight or two before he fights JMM, and to spruce up his credibility in the ring before another superfight....:)

My bad. Actually, Medina just fought and lost his belt like a week ago. I still, though, think that Manny deserves a tune-up bout before getting in there with JMM.

Guys are now lining up to face Pac man. Some names included are Erik Morales, Paulie Ayala and JMM. I'm glad that pac-man has finally hit the big time. I just hope he can continue his winning ways

I think Pac ****ing kills both Morales and Ayala. He's too busy and quick for both those guys. JMM will be Pac's toughest test, IMO. Marquez hits hard, maybe just as hard as Pac.
