Why is that?

That's not a reasonable assumption. You have no idea on the backstory there. For all we know, she could be dating some woman beater or drug dealer, she's had enough and she's looking elsewhere.

The only thing Astro needs to be aware of is that if they starting and if he doesn't do right by her that she will start looking elsewhere.

I feel just about every single male who has a good female friend uses this option. Unbeknownst to most women at that. I refer to this as "swirling vulture" mode and have fallen victim to it many a time.

But since I too have played the role I recommend this,

1) stick around being her "Friend" and continue acting so without letting out a hint of what yoru intentions are.

2) wait till she gets in a fight with her boyfriend and be that guy who is there for her and speak your slanderous poison. My favorites are: "You shouldnt let him treat you like that, you deserve better" or "I wouldnt treat the woman I love like that"

3) repeat 1 & 2 until boyfriend becomes a jealous mess and starts falsly accusing her of cheating on him. He lays down altimatum cliche' "him or me" or "I want you to stop being friends with him"

4) eventually the jealousy is to much for her to handle and she leaves him. She hangs out with you regularly and then you slowly sink your love "mata leao" until your together.


I have seen this happen many times from 1st,2nd and 3rd person perspective. It works. Its not that she is unfaithful as you have decieved her.

even more reason. a girl who's in a relationship with someone who beats her has **** for self-esteem and isn't girlfriend material. a girl who's "had enough" would leave the relationship and THEN start looking. a girl who looks while she's still in a relationship isn't girlfriend material.

The above was merely an example and you missed the point.

The point was that knowing her story before you decide to leap is a smart thing - so you can assess her for girlfriend material. I know my man Astro. He's not about getting ass just for the **** of it (although if it's a Jessica Alba clone, exceptions could be made).

oh i got the point. i was just using your examples against you because my point was that a girl who's still in a relationship but is down to skip her current for the next best thing is not girlfriend material regardless of her story.

that's a good point. i saw what you were saying earlier too. i think if he did it your way and she just naturally broke up w/ her dude, hung out with astro for a lil while, they get to know eachother and THEN they hook up then it's possible girlfriend material. BUT it also risks falling into the friendship trap and you get to re-enact that cartoon strip that carlao had goin on.

but if can tell that this chick ALREADY likes him then it sounds like she's just looking for a rebound.

and i'm not saying i'm right cause all i can do is just throw out **** based on what i've gone through.

and from what i've gone through, everytime i've ever had a girl break my heart it's been cause i thought she was girlfriend material and i also was taking her right after the last guy she was with. sure she acted like the last guy treated her all bad and **** BUT you never know if that's the case. you're just going on what she says. and of COURSE you're going along with it cause, quite frankly, you don't CARE. you're just trying to get your foot in the door with her.

and i can tell you that everytime i got dumped a few months down the road there was always some other dude comin right in to take my place. here i'd be trying to be all nice and **** and she was probably turning around and telling mr. new about how horrible i was. all of a sudden mr. new is now the same "friend" that i used to be. and i'm now the new dickhead boyfriend that she's complaining about.

the only solid relationships i've ever had were with girls that weren't jumpin around like that. i'm not saying that this is always the case but it's just based on my experience mang :)

Be her friend. If she is willing to cheat on her current bf, then should would be willing to cheat on you. Not good gf material as Purity says. Be honest up to a point.
