Hell no. Game's Pain is a hot record that's gotten some decent play. My Life is definitely a smart move by Game to cash in on the Weezy hype. I'm not sure he'll get to platinum. He may top off around 800k.

His first week numbers will probably be a little bit higher than 250K.

Yeah I was born in LA. Live in Hawthorne/Inglewood area. Game has fans on the west coast. Power 106 shows him like major love. He's always on Big Boi in the morning. I would say about 60% of his fans are on the west coast.

game will eventually go platinum but its gonna take some time. I think the game is just as popular as 50 cent now...if 50 was to drop an album right now i could see their album sales being similar. Games got fans all over the country.

In terms of music buzz he is on par or even bigger than Fif at the moment. On a larger scale to outside of hip hop audiences I say Fif is a lot more known than Game.

I think Fif will still be able to sell records. Look at Curtis he pulled out a mil even when the public was tired of him. His Kanye competition thing was genious to get people in the stores to buy the record.

I wouldn't read too much into G-Unit sales from TOS. Previously he was so on fire that he could release a fart on a record and sell a couple of million. Now he's died down a bit.

But Fif is smart he won't release a solo album that won't sell. Or otherwise he'll just scrap the record and comeback at a later date.

I agree plus it was released in between the Lil Wayne hype. And right now this dude is taking all of the dought. Week in and week out he's moving over 40k since going plat in a week. And then Nas also dropped too.

I'm not saying they would have sold much more. But there would be a little improvement. Wayne and Nas have sizeable fan bases. I think that took away a bit from G-Unit sales. It's all of about timing. It's much better to drop in a dry spot than it is to go up against heavyweights.

^eh, nas released his album two weeks after g-units, would two weeks really make that big a difference? the album was garbage, what they shoulda done was give a bonus disc with it with some of those mixtape cuts to give the fans a lil more for there money and a lil more incetive to buy the album, i mean i cant stand g-unit but that 'the mechanic' track was sick as ****, had a beat sent over form The Alchemist that aint even been used yet, how could they leave this off the album?

You probably wont find too many who like TOS as much as i do...and i used to hate g-unit. Those mixtapes were hot and i agree they shoulda had a bonus disc with some of those songs on it. I dont think thats why the album sold the way it did...at this point the name "50 cent" is more popular then "g-unit".
