GolTv is going to start airing La Liga matches......Barcelona and Madrid games will be shown live.....I'm switching to Dish Network today so I can ge that channel.....some guy posted this on another forum.....it may be available in your area...
I contacted GolTV and I finally got the answer everybody was looking for. I have to say that the customer service at GolTV is really diligent. They answered me in a matter of minutes. In short... La Liga is finally back in the US! Although, you will need Dish Network. See below for details:
We are glad to confirm that rumor you heard. Yes, Gol TV will broadcast the Spanish League. In fact, next weekend we will enjoy the first two games.
Saturday- Barcelona x Osasuna - 1:30pm (ET) [LIVE]
Sunday- Malaga x Real Madrid - 4:30pm (ET)
Our channel is currently available mainly through Dish Network; therefore, it is necessary for most of the US territory to subscribe to this satellite system to reach us. In addition, we signed a contract with Cablevision. If you are in New York (Bronx/Brooklyn) or in New Jersey (Newark/Hudson County) you can reach our channel.
Gol TV is available in all Latino packages as well as in the AT 150 package, which features mostly English language channels and a few international channels, including Latinos.
Dish Network system allows SAP (Secondary Audio Program). In the case of Gol TV, for instance, if you have signed for the AT 150 package, you will hear most of the programs in English, with the possibility to switch to Spanish, if you choose to do so.
If your contract is with a Latino package, on the other hand, you will listen the programs in Spanish, being able to switch to English.
