I think raw footage is real good. He gives some good advice to kids in the projects. He still has a good flow, hes good lyrically. All around i consider him to be good but not great. I said in another thread that raw footage is better then LAX for a couple reasons. Ice cube is actually rapping with a purpose, he makes good politicial songs. And he can make a song without droppin names. I could see myself maybe liking LAX more but i will never be able to say that LAX is a better cd then raw footage.

He's one of the best to ever do it. Pioneered gangster rap and said a lot of **** other rappers didn't have the balls to say.

Cube is great. Just listen to all of his earlier material. No one spit as much venom as him.

It's not even bad. People prefer different sounds. The west and the east at one point sounded different. The west had more of a laid back flow. Newer artists today though just flow like whatever.

But Cube has a strong west flow and maybe those use to an east flow overlook him.

You can switch coasts and substitute "LL Cool J" too if you want...
