I didn't like Weak and Powerless nearly as much as Three Libras from their first CD, but I'll check out some of their other new tunes.

Got a question for you. My daughter has heard of the band, likes them. Are there swear words in their music? Daughters are allowed to listen to some....son ....none.

nothing wrong with swear words. In fact, speaking from a kids point of a view, if you try to block them from hearing them....they seek them out.

My Mom just sort of let us listen to whatever we wanted to listen too. And now I love Creed

Go figure

My girls can handle it, my son cannot. He is easily influenced by the music, his peers, even us on some things. (as he should be) We watch what he listens to and even ban some things for the girls...mainly sexually explicit stuff. I just need to know if there are a lot of swear words, and the content of the music. BTW, Disturbed is daughter #2's favorite band. Her bf went to Ozzfest and met the lead singer. Made her sooooo mad!!! (she couldn't go)

Well madcrewmom.

The new CD has no bad words. No explicit lyrics label. I dont see any wrong in the lyrical content.

In fact mom. i[ will post a song to see if it meets your aproval.

So glad to see you well
Overcome and completely silent now
Without himself
You cast your demons out
And not to pull your halo down
Around your neck and tug you off your cloud
But I'm more than just curious
How you're planning to go about
Making your amends to the dead
To the dead

Recall the deeds as if
They're all someone else's
Atrocious stories
Now you stand reborn before us all
So glad to see you well

And not to pull your halo down
Around your neck and tug you to the ground
But I'm more than just curious
How you're planning to go about
Making your amends to the dead
To the dead

With your halo slipping down
Your halo slipping
Your halo slipping down
Your halo slipping down
Your halo slipping down [repeated]

It does. Thank you.....it helps because I don't always like the music they listen to, but I let them if it's not explicit. Their father is stricter than I am....but they talk to me more openly.

I don't blame other people for my kid being an ass. I blame my son for letting himself be influenced by others. He has choices. He doesn't always make the right choice. As a parent, it is my job to teach him the difference between right and wrong and limit the bad influences until he is able to stand on his own two feet. The problem with my son is horrendous. Once he is 18 and a high school graduate, he can make all of his own decisions. But until then, he is only allowed to make decisions on certain things.

Are you a parent? Because if you aren't, then don't judge me until you've walked in my shoes. Life is hell in my house everyday because my son is a little turd. He fights everything. Am I supposed to just let him do what he wants, neglect his hw, his responsibilities, his family, his dog? I don't think so. It's my job to raise him right, but he is the biggest challenge in my life so therefore I remove some of the elements that make it impossible for me to do my job until he is mature enough to make good decisions.

Parenthood can be hard with a kid like my son. My girls make it easy. I used to blame myself for all of his problems until a friend put in perspective. I have three kids, if I was a bad parent I would have three messed up kids. My girls are awesome, especially when their brother is being a turd.
