Joe was with Warren a long time, even after his title shots. I think the main reason why he stayed with him is because he knew Warren would protect him from the top US fighters but still make him money. Now he has decided to step it up and steal the guys pensions when it is too late for true boxing fans, he doesn't want Warren around because he is just a middle man now and would probably stop him from fighting them even now!!!
