astroboy, you know the term interference in football? Well, I think mom's use this as a way to protect their child. To interfere in things they might be getting into. But, usually a person has to find things out on their own......

But be glad someone thinks enough of "you" to worry about the path you might be taking. There are people all over the world no one cares about, & usually it's to late to even try to help them......

Well my mom doesn't listen in on my calls but she does threaten to call the cops on me if I came home late, this was when I was oh about 18 and younger, I'm 21 now. (my whole fam is full of Cops) or ask all my bf's for there DL and cell number, home number, car insureince,how long he's been driving, where we are going and what time we'll be back, or I can't go. She also did this with any of the girls I went anywhere with.

This is only a little bit of what she liked to do. I know it was out of love but alot of the times ppl wouldn't call me to go out anywhere becuz of it.

I agree with Momita and cybil. Your mom loves you. Count yourself lucky that you have one. So many kids are missing a parent out there......

Have you given her reason to mistrust you? I don't snoop into my kids' lives unless they have given me reason to mistrust.....my son's room gets ransacked all the time.....I do it in front of him.

My Mom used to search my room all the time. I lost some really good **** magazines because of her. However, thats your parents job. On the off chance your building bombshells insted of just looking at them
