Please relay this message to Manny Pacquiao if you are a close friend of him.
I am a Filipino leaving here in U.S. and this is my message to Manny.
I think fighting Oscar is ONE OF YOUR BEST fight ever or ONE OF THE BEST of your entire life and I want to tell you why.
-Oscar is a HALL OF FAMER in his prime
-He has beaten tough and very talented boxers
-He is ONE of the MOST popular boxer here in United States
I've read your negotiator's (GACAL) comment with the split and it really blew my mind how he handled the negotiation. For me the PURSE percentage is just fair, for Oscar to offer this kind of amount is an HONOR for you and your team. No one in boxing history earned this much in the lightweight division but you. You never know how great boxers like, Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, Oscar, etc.. not to mention other great boxers, how they came to get their big purses. They went through the hole of a needle to get this and If Don King promoted this fight, you might not get the $$$ amount that OSCAR offered you, you will get only peanuts of it.
Fighting Oscar is a good publicity for you and your career. Win or loss you will gain more recognition through out the boxing world and you will be considered the HOTTEST boxer after your fight with Oscar and this will eventually increase your PURSE even more each time you fight a boxer.
You should manage your life, I mean, you should always have the final say on all your fight negotiations, you should never let your negotiator or manager have the final say. If you let them manage everything for you, you will get up one morning from your bed and suddenly you will realize, all your hardworks are gone and you can never get back the FAME and FORTUNE that you once have.. I MEAN NEVER AGAIN!!
You should FIRE your negotiator (GACAL)because he is FULL of himself (HAMBOG or MAYABANG), the decision that he made in behalf of you will only create a conflict between the other promoters, POLITICS in the WORLD OF BOXING and making BUSINESS with these people is a HUGE DIFFERENT BALL GAME.
BE WARN MANNY, YOUR NEGOTIATORS, MANAGERS WILL MAKE OR BREAK YOU, SO BE CAUTIOUS WHOM YOU CHOOSE TO MANAGE YOUR CAREER.. once again, you should always have the final say in all decisions, you are the fighter, your the one making your life, do not anyone interfere what you think is right, because in the end whatever misfortunes that may happen to you and your career, you will be the one to suffer the most.
