Styles make fights. Mosley is relatively short 5'8" for this weightclass, Forrest's longer reach plus his unorthodox style created a lot of problems for Shane.

He is probably one of the quickest fighters out there, but I don't think he posseses the power. See, Forrest didn't try to outbox Mosley (Oscar did the first time, that is why he lost), he instead lure him into a brawl and a push and shove match.
