I have a feeling that the Mayo-Tito fight is going to be quick and not live up to expectations. Mayorga is tailor made for Tito IMO.

I would go with Pac-Marquez for FOY.

So far, it has to be Pacquiao-Marquez.

Let's see if Trinidad-Mayorga and/or Castillo-Corrales could upstage it.

I join the chorus: Pac-Marquez to this point and time; Tito-Mayorga, possible. Benefit of the doubt: Barrera-Morales III (?)

Ya think? I doubt it...

Hey grayfist, 20 seconds left in the 6th round MAB-Pac, slip or knockdown?

Barrera-Morales 3 at 130, i dunno man...MAB could be biting more than he could chew at this weight class, I think Morales will finally KTFO his bitter rival this time. hahahaha LOL now i'm having some really wild imaginations.

sorry to butt in, but I just can't resist your poser.

Barrera threw a right, Pac ducked underneath it and threw a quick 3-punch combo to the body starting with a left...went upstairs for another quick 1-2 right & left cross combo...and down goes Barrera. Knockdown!

I think Trinidad/Mayorga stands a good chance for fight of the year, Mayorga, I imagine will come right at him and Tito will have a chance to show off his boxing skills. Did anyone see the Daniel Edouard/Willie Gibbs fight on ESPN a month or so ago? Action wise you cant ask for a much better fight between two up and comming prospects. That one and Pac man/Marquez were the best fights I've seen this year.

whoa whoa whoa, :o I wish I can take the credit..just sharing the comedy (this one is more of proof). Over at mannyp's site, some posters are very creative. They like that it gets spread around. A little cheering for the home team :D Their just a bit biased sometimes and this site provides more debate.

Browsed it a couple of times; chose not to get into the fray. Got this site from there, wasn't able to resist the temptation to get in and toss in my ten-cents. I'm now hooked! But, no regrets! :D

Booker - Toney is the fight of the year. Even though Toney suffered a tremendous pain in his left bicep, he was able to fight on and beat the W BS # 7 rated fighter, the huge, twice taller, twice more powerful Booker. ;)

Toney showed some ``real heart" beating up that... kid.

I can almost smell the sarcasm.

Toney picked a very weak opponent for his comeback. It was not too fun to watch.

However, I liked the spontaneous press-conference at the end of the fight... with Byrd and Toney. A couple of boxers, Jirov one of them, tried to pick up a fight with Toney when he was leaving the arena... That part was fun.

being totally biased I go for PacMan-Dinamita fight as the best fight of the year, the Trinidad-Mayorga was an action paced fight but it went lopsided, the pacquiao-marquez on the other was closed all the way and to this day the number of guys who said either guy won and number guys who saw at a draw is almost equal, cut to the middle......

yup without a doubt the best figth this year
but best one sided ass whoopens with supposed threat of one hitter quitters were definatly Vit-Sanders and Tito-Mayo
altho i truly didnt think either sanders or mayo had much of a chance

Probably Pac/JMM as far as even fight goes, but I think the Tito/Mayorga fight was a lot more action packed, and fun to watch even if it did get one sided from round 4-8.

I'm not a future reader, or a psycic, but i think if Tarver and briggs happens in December that could be a winner.

I don't know, i just have this feeling.
