My personal favorites are

1) Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) from 1960 to 1967 "I'm da greatest. And I'm knockin' out all bums. And if you get too smart I'll knock you out!"lol

2) Muhammad Ali (again) from 1970 to 1975 "I'll be a killa, and a chilla, and a thrilla, when I go get the gorilla, in Manila..."

3) Jack Johnson (The Jackie Robinson of heavyweight boxing)"I'm black, and you never let me forget it. I'm black, and i'll never let you forget it."

I suppose I shouldn't say the same person twice (Ali) so i'll add one more on.

4)? Mike Tyson "No body on da planet could beat me!!!"

1: Ali- He was a gift to the sport when someone like him was needed the most. An incredible athlete and an amazing man.

2: Joe Louis- An amazingly accurate puncher. Was a clinical boxer and is arguably the most gifted boxer technically.

3: James J Braddock- This man had a heart of gold. Wasn't a great boxer but would do everything for his family and this is why i respect him. Read a lot about him and he was also one of the bravest fighters ever.
