For me depends of the weight because at 140 Chavez was too strong, that wasn't the case at 147. I'll be curse for saying this, but Oscar's skills and reach
would've prevail against Chavez work rate. Oscar by majority descision, nevermind a k.o.

I think DLH would have always been too big for Chavez, even at 140 and he possesses too much of a reach and height advantage. DLH by decision.

DLH would indeed always have a size advantage, as he was taller, rangier, and naturally bigger and made the weight limits under the day-before weigh-in procedures.

As far as being a peak Chavez though, I'm not too sure.

Even though he was Fighter of the Year in 1995, DLH was still relatively green back at 135.

The Chavez of 1987, who fought Rosario, was a ****ing monster.
