In Oct of 2000 I Purchased a DVD,TV,VCR with a best buy credit card with 6 months same as cash. Well at the time of the purchase they had some new cashier in training running my purchase..they could not process it due to a "computer problem" So they got a Superior to process the purchase. I received a bill for double the purchase price aprox 4- months after the origional purchase date. As per my agreement for the purchase i Payed for what items i purchased withing the alloted 6 months and filed a dispute with Best Buys Credit Card Co. They claim to never receive the form , so i would request the form and re mail it, and they would not receive it, and this went on for like a year. Finally in January of 2002 i got a name of a representitive faxed the dispute form and received a call like 2 months later that it was declined due to the time period i took for them to receive the dispute. So i told them to **** off and that i would not pay $ for something that is not mine. well a year and a half later i receive a "Summons and Complaint" form. I am being sued for like 1600+court costs for an origional amout of less than 900.00 that was not mine in the first place

And the worst is i cant afford a lawyer to fight for me...

I am going to do this on my own and win. **** those guys. I iwll have to protest this B.S.

I would if i knew hwo did this.

I will follow the normal procedings. I have to file a "Answer to Complaint" with the Court House 32A and file the dispute, and then I will Copy my dispute with a written letter the the plainifs attourney advising not only is this claim fraudulent that i demand that all record of this B.S. gets removed from my credit report!

Documentation and being organized in all of your paperwork is the key to winning. My dad has won several court cases just by being organized and having ALL documentation ready at hand. Judges like that. Good luck!!

I have very little documentation. Other that a name and Fax that was sent in erly January of 2002.

Do you have the orginal bill? And/or receipt?
