Monte Cox reported the unfortunate news on Monday's MMAWeekly Radio Show that Ian Freeman recently suffered a broken wrist in a motorcycle accident.
Freeman is otherwise doing okay, but will be out of commission for a few months due to the wrist injury. Freeman was looking forward to fighting again, but will have to sit out for a few months to let the wrist heal.
Monte also added that Ian still wants to fight in the 205-pound weight class, and that the UFC has shown some level of interest in a possible rematch between Freeman and Vernon "Tiger" White. The last time Freeman fought was against White at UFC 42 as that fight was ruled a draw.
