Sadly the effects of it are short lasting. In the long term it is what is in your heart that governs how you will train and how you will perform when it counts. If you want something bad enough you will do anything to get it. peewee1460 08-09-2008, 10:42 PM watch malignaggi doc part 1-9 on youtube eman-resu 08-10-2008, 12:39 AM who's the guido looking guy in your avatar? he weirds me out thegimmick 08-13-2008, 11:48 AM the black swifty do you even box? twat hbj 08-13-2008, 01:02 PM i havent been to my boxing gym in about 2 weeks now cause i have been very sick i cant wait to go back im thinking of how much fun and enjoyment im going to get out of my first sparring session, how much fun it is to hit some other guy in the gym im thinking about it all the time how can you lose motivation there is no secret to motivation you need to be motivated just like in life you cant live with no motivation. life is an opputunity just get off your ass and do it TheBlackSwifty 08-13-2008, 01:15 PM the black swifty do you even box? twat I box, and im badass. It requires you to be mentally tough. Sadly the effects of it are short lasting. In the long term it is what is in your heart that governs how you will train and how you will perform when it counts. If you want something bad enough you will do anything to get it. THIS ^^^^^^^^ You have to do the work for what you want even when you don't feel like it. Then it transcends the simple notion of "work" and you build character and all that kind of stuff. Boxing is my hobby, but I am a serious musician, I have practiced my instruments nearly every single day for decades now. You have to do it when you do not feel like it - its simple, why wouldn't you? There are many, many other people in this world who must do much harder things. On that note, Television is the devil, stay away from it, it will suck you in and take away your time, which is what you need most of to develop anything you want to do. And its full of people who just yell loud and never worked for anything. i3raintwo 03-24-2010, 03:23 PM I think the best way is just to get your ass in the gym. Its like waking up or running. You sit there and think of every reason not to.. BUT once you just say F it and start, 15 mins in(which is how long it takes for your body to warm up and fill with energy) you'll be in workout mode. PLUS! Anger always helps! Just think of all the people you dislike or see as competition and think "Can I take them in a fight right now?" and make sure they can't by training. |
