My mom wants to order this thing called the ab rocket. I told her to order it cuz i would use it alot and she said that i couldn't use it unless I went half in on it. Its $100.00 I dont think that she will use it nearly as much as i would. So should i go half in or what? Here is the link to the website(if you have speakers turn em down a lil cuz there is a short vid clip on how it works and that **** will scare you if ur speakers are turned up)

Ohh yea but she will probably keep it at her work if she buys it cuz she works out at her work. and if i go half in she will keep it at the house.

In that case I would go for it, and promise yourself to use it AT LEAST 50 sessions, that way it'll be a buck a session, and access to more...

You mean that thingy that sends electric pulses down your stomach? I tried that once on overdrive, all it did was make my face distort while making sounds like "ggggeeee..."

What I was thinking. You don't need that expensive **** to get a six-pack. There are loads of at-home exercises you can do on the floor that can get you a six-pack. You have to also remember to eat right though. That's a huge factor in getting six-pack abs.

Make your mom buy it, and use it on take-your-child to work day. :)

Ha...Ha...Ha....$100, ****ing hell. You can buy something which does exactly the same thing for about £5 (roughly $10):

http://www.amazon.co.uk/abdominal-roller-ftf311-Roller-Exerciser/dp/B000P5RYKY

Only difference is you're lying on your back and not on a chair...Those Ab rollers are a joke too.

Do knee to elbow whilst moving legs like a bicycle on your back and do sit ups. They're free and far, far, far, more effective.

lol **** you. I do some ab workouts once a week, but They kill my back when I lay on the floor and do them. I just thought I would use the ab rocket and see which one I like better.

Ab exercises won't even help you get a six pack, it's all about having low bodyfat.

No it's not. It's about having strong developed ab muscles which show because you have low body fat. Low body fat allows for the abs to show, if you have small muscles but low body fat you'll have that ****ed up little "6 pack" kids have. You need both. It's pretty ****ing simple stuff.

exactly. People put too much reliance on diet alone. Swimmers have extremely low body fat, but very few have six packs. Just eating rift won't get you ****. Like all other muscles, you have to work them for them to make an appearance.

though you guys are right in that you do have to do some core strengthening, a six pack is still way more about low body fat than muscle strength. why do you think guys from africa, and the caribbean have six packs. its because they have really low caloric intakes. they may be physically active, but i guarantee they aren't doing crunches.... im studying to be a certified strength and conditioning specialist (cscs), im an amateur boxer, and im a personal trainer. that's what i have learned in my studies and training (others and myself).

on the other hand, if you want your six pack to "pop" like the dudes from 300, intense abdominal work will help you bring out the six pack more.

Those guys from 300 had computer touchups on their physiques. For a photoshoot they use makeup and mascara and **** to make their muscles look more defined. It's not just women who have to live up to something that's fake.

If you want to see it really bad watch a bowflex commercial. Those guys have spray tans and makeup heavily and you can tell from their soft bellies.

These things are gimmicks. I read that once a company made 'em with a guarantee that if it broke they would refund. It was one of them pulling machines. Now if the video program was followed the product would not last a week and they knew it. Only 5% of people returned the item. Most people who buy this **** are lazy bums who can't be asked doing sit ups so just buy into the dream of having abs. Get real and buy an exercise mat!
