I gave a party for two of my three kids on Saturday. Their bdays are only days apart (3 yrs in age) so I combined them this year. I let them have it at the beach and we had so much fun. But I am wiped out! The cake got waterlogged, but a friend came ot the rescue and brought another one out. I got a parking ticket and I was legally parked. So now I get to fight City Hall. I took a picture of the parking stall where I was parked in lot #7. On the asphalt is says "boat permit parking" and is VERY faded. I have a season permit. On the paperwork they gave me it said that I can park in lot #7 with the exception of "slip rental parking" On the other side of the parking lot, it has stalls that say on the curb "slip rental parking"......so me being a stickler for what is written, I assumed that I was parking legally. I got a damn ticket. I also noticed as I was leaving a sign. This sign was close to the spot I was in and said "permit parking only" Not any of the "other" permit parking only. So I took a picture. Ha!! I can and will fight City Hall and I will win. I won't stop being a pest until I do. I also talked to the guy writing the tickets because he wanted to write me one while I was loading. He was extremely rude and said to me "don't procrastinate" I didn't want to...I wanted to go home!! It was late! I'm too old to party past ten pm. But I am old enough to know you can fight City Hall and win......:)
