What I mean is that Morales always receives a lot of damage in his fights but he wins them, but he has never faught against a man that hits so hard like Pacquiao, he needs to stop getting so much damage.

In Pacquiao vs Marquez, the over confidence that the pac man had after the firs and second round, was the one that did not let the pacman win that fight, off course that JMM is a good fighter but not as good as pacquiao, and On the pacman vs MAB, the pacman almost killed barrera, barrera has nothing to do against pacman, he better not even try to get another fight against the pacman.

I think Marquez is just as good as Pacquiao and I even had Marquez winning the first fight. Right now I say Morales beats Pacquiao unless I see Pac fight and look good at 130 then I say he has a shot but first he needs to get past Marquez which is no easy task. Morales also must get past Barrera before they can get in the ring together.

His troubles begin significantly with his overall lack of skill at "adjusting" to his opponent. Each time I view the Marquez tape, I am more convinced that both Morales and Marquez will smoke 'em.

I don't see Pac doing anything different with Morales than he did with Marquez, so The End for Pac will not be pretty. Meaning, he'll get into a very predictable pattern of head movements and lunging punches, that Morales will see .... in slow motion. All this talk of Morales tasting Pac's power is good, but Pac will definitely "taste" a little himself, from a man who can easilt adjust to what pac might bring.

In the Marquez rematch, Pac will likely be reduced to the "contender" role that is probably inevitable for all guy's with predictable, unchangeable, and limited styles.

Morales is the better all-around fighter, he can box, counterpunch and when someone gets hit with his precision uppercuts...it's good night. But, his natural warrior's instinct of getting into brawls sometimes, if not most of the times, can be his weakness against Pacquiao. Pacquiao thrives and is devastating when fighters come to him and fight, getting themselves exposed in front of Pac's line of fire. JMMarquez found this out to be true in the 1st round.

The way to beat Pac is to counterpunch & avoid his left hand, but you have to be a really exceptional technician like JMMarquez to handle the pressure Pac will bring. I reckon Morales will box him from the outside, sticking out his stiff jab, taking advantage of his size and longer reach. Taking potshots, circling him and moving away when Pac gets close...and surely, he will let loose his killer right hand as well.

It's 50/50. It could go either way.

If Pacquiao stays focus and prepares himself hard for the fight, he's got a chance against morales! Morales will face the hardest hitter in his entire career and that is pacquiao. This is still 50/50 for either boxer (but it's not yet final i am waiting for the morales-barrera outcome). This has a great effect here naturally!

I am in awe of your ignorance. Crystal jaw? Don't be stupid. He's never been dropped, and I can't remember a time he was seriously hurt. And he generally fights extremely good competition. The weakest guy he's faced in the past several years was Eddie Croft. That was unacceptable, but apart from that, his opponents have been chamionship quality. Well...apart from maybe Bobby Boy Velardes. But that was about getting revenge, so it's acceptable. Oh, and he does have decent defense.

Really? What gave you that impression? You really believe that Pacquiao is stronger than Daniel Zaragoza, Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez, and In-Jin Chi? I don't. Pac's strong, now doubt, but Erik Morales has seen virtually everything there is to see, and if there's one thing that's going to trouble Morales, it's Pac-man's speed and power, not his strength.

This is the fight I most want to see because it will be exciting to watch. Look, you have a veteran who has been there in Morales and a young cat looking for a chance at the crown in Pacquiao. Eric in my opinion looks like a fighter who fights to the level of his competition which would be very dangerous for a fighter like Pacquiao. If Pac-man try's to make this into a slug fest rather than respect Morales' power he will be in for a rude awakening. But this is what makes this fight a great matchup so many different possiblities about the outcome. I hope this fight takes place soon , I'll be watching.
