I mean think about it, lets get rid of hellos, goodbyes and banal chatting when we don't know the person or they aren't a friend.
When we pick up the phone when it rings, we say hello, the other person says hi, then proceeds to tell you what the **** is happening. That is one wasted revolution in communication protocol - I say get rid of the ****ing "hi's" and just replace it with "talk" then the other person can just spit out what they want to talk about.
When you go into a store, instead of "hi, how are you?" "fine thank you" "thats good...I'm wondering if you can help me...blah blah" why not just replace it with getting straight to the point "I need to find...blah blah", that shaves a whole 5 seconds off the conversation already. When you tally this **** up, it equals days, months, years, being saved simply because we get rid of banal greeting/departure protocols and banal chat about **** that doesn't matter.
