I checked out a scene from one of his movies closely, and even slo-moed it to find out how strong he would've been in mixed martial arts tournaments.

He would've totally obliterated most of today's mma champs in any division.

Here's why.

No doubt.

He probably would've had an Olympics type event where the absolute best traditional stylists from around the world compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in their own respective styles. :boxing:

Although I do agree he was very good and way ahead of his time the mma game has evolved since then so who knows how he would have done with todays fighters. A guy that does remind me of him is anderson silva his style is so fluent, like he didnt have a style kinda like bruce.

Yeah, I think, today, Bruce would've been more involved in promotions, much like what De La Hoya is doing, and the training of fighters.

No doubt he would've been a pioneer in the development of high tech training equipment. :boxing:

If Bruce Lee was involved in MMA he would have been great simply because natural ability combined with him being a training nut.

You were absolutely correct.

Man, today's mma chumps would be riding and hugging Bruce's nuts like they do Rickson Gracie's.

I mean, what kind of chump would stand under all that heat that bruce would bring?

He would spark'em all, I tell you!

Just light'em all up!

Bruce was a phenom and 10 years ahead of the game.

Whatchoo talkin' bout, Willis?:boxing:

Yeah, Anderson is a natural beast.

But Bruce would light him up just the same.

No disrespect. :boxing:

lee invented his own form of martial art. his defense was his offense. he hit you before you hit him. no blocking. very interesting how he might fare in todays mixed martial art.

i not think him good on ground game.

In reality, if Bruce had been in his prime today, no doubt he would've been at the top of the sport in his weight class.

I'm not so sure he would've been undefeated in other weight classes.

But it would've been sweet to see Bruce and Rickson get it on today. :boxing:

Sure, he looks fantastic in some videos, but there are lots of young prospects who look fantastic on the way up, but then it all goes wrong before they reach the top.

Bruce Lee's greatest performances were in films and exhibitions, rather than in official events against world-class opponents.

I'm not saying that you are wrong, I'm not knowledgeable about Bruce Lee so I don't know, but why are you sure that he would've succeeded in MMA?

I just said that he didn't fight in official events.

By 'exhibitions' I meant things like him demonstrating the one inch punch etc.
