would be nice for posters not wanting to deal with trolls and spammers.

There could be a minimum posting amount, maybe a brief test where you have to list a champion in each weight class, know the weights that correspond to the weight class names, understand a few concepts related to the sport that don't involve fanboy love spewing or result in posts like "who would win, Hagler or Ali?"

There's a lot to sift through. I imagine if many of the "superposters" had access to a separate forum, that many of the trolls would grow tired of registering, fighting amongst themselves where no facts were being thrown around (just insults) - and we wouldn't have PanzerGirls or Dr. Cynicals.

What do you guys think?

mate its a nice concept but surely you are experienced enough to know who you look out for as decent and readabile posters?

If we segregate the board surely its against the whole ethic of the site to bring boxing to the forefront? For every 10 trolls if there is one new fan who joins the site and gets into boxing isnt it worthwhile?
What would happen if only the decent posters had their own exclusuve board then the new potential fan just goes aways cos 1. he has learned nothing from the trolls and secondly he probably thinks all boxing fans are idiots, can you see where Im coming from?

I think your own selection of whom to respond to, work out who are the decent folk on here is the best way, plus its fun. I dont mind engaging in the odd bit of slanging just to show these fools up, a la panzergirl.
At the end of the day generally you can embarass them easily enough especially when it comes to justifying their opinions on the sweet science cos for the most part its only what they have heard not an informed opinion.
